It’s funny Rainier Rush is so hated, because it’s actually one of the missed/defunct credits I want the most. Growing up, I knew it as Typhoon at Santa’s Village in Dundee, IL-my family would usually go there once a year, and little kiddie me was absolutely intimidated by Typhoon’s tilted loop. I never worked up the courage to ride it (which is funny, because the loop barely looks like an inversion to me now)… but I’d have loved the chance to conquer that childhood fear now as an adult. I wouldn’t expect it to be a good ride, but nonetheless, I wish I could have closed that loop (pun intended)! Ah well.

I actually enjoyed blue tornado on my trip to Gardaland a few years back, actually my favourite ride at the park. It was extremely intense and the roughness could be easily dealt with by bracing your head to the right side (which I always do on rough coasters). @MarkJensen-e8d8 ай бұрын
I would be the 2nd person to have loved Flashback. I rode this in the early 90's as a kid and it wasn't as rough. I think what made it worse was simply "the ride rotation program," coupled with months of "standing but not operating during the summer."

So glad you agreed with Pegasus. Went to Mt Olympus two summers ago and loved the water park and flat rides. But one night, we decided to go on the coasters, and started with Pegasus. So we went on Pegasus, and we both agreed that it was awful. The view of the park was nice, but nothing else. It is the reason I try to avoid wooden coasters to this fay

I Don't Know How Many Times I Have To Repeat My Opinion On Bandit... It's Not That Bad , I Rode It 3 Times , 2 Times In Very Front And 1 In The Very Back , The Front Was Enjoyable , Bumpy Yes , But Nothing Too Painful , The Back row however Is The Roughest Seat On The Train , The Last Transition Into The Final Brakerun Was The Roughest Section Of The Ride , The Rest Of The Layout Was Alright However. I Enjoyed Bandit , Yes , I Enjoyed An RCCA. It's My First Wooden Coaster That Wasn't A GCI , Which Was Troy At Toverland , My First Ever Wooden Coaster I Rode. Bandit Was The Second Ever Wooden Coaster I Rode , It Still Is. And In My Opinion , Bandit Isn't As Bad As The Thousands Of People On KZbin And The Internet Make It Out To Be. Hot take: Anaconda is underrated and enjoyable if you are tall enough that your head doesn't hit the restraint, and the coaster for some reason always felt special/nostalgic to me when I visited the park. However, if Chance Rides could work with Kings Dominion in the future when Anaconda reaches its end of life, fix the ending of the coaster while making the start similar to pay homage, keep the iconic look of the Arrow track since their track design is similar, provide their trains with better restraints, and add theming such as water effects before and after going through the tunnel and possibly jungle theming, then Anaconda 2 by Chance Rides has the potential of becoming a S-tier coaster in my opinion.
@mitchellries2568 ай бұрын
I've ridden a few of these bad rides such as Anaconda, Shockwave, and Hurler at Kings Dominion. Those are my least favorite coasters beginning with A, S, and H respectively, with the latter being the worst one I've ridden. The worst I've ridden beginning with the letter W is Wildcat at Lake Compounce, but I hear the new retracking from Gravity Group has helped significantly so hopefully that won't be the case anymore. I've ridden Coast Rider long before the shin guards were added. Hopefully Knott's Berry Farm will one day decide that they're no longer necessary and remove them.

Honestly, I really liked The Ultimate when I rode it (admittedly like 18 years ago at this point). It was definitely relatively tame by today's standards, but that was also kind of the point. It was more about the setting and the cool use of terrain vs the pure excitement. Here is 13-year-old me's review from the time (yes I keept a log lol): "A very long, and surprisingly good wood-steel hybrid. First half was smooth, second half was intense."
