yeah. I also have a close muslim friend where her first one or two of her relationships were arranged for her. They weren't completely arranged marriage but the guys were still picked out by her family and she was in college and dating long distance for awhile too. I was roommates with her and yet she never spoke about this guy she was dating w me (& she would change subject real quick if we got close to that topic), I just saw them facetime occasionally, and it's hard to say whether she would really classify it as a real relationship.
