The topic of a M3 Touring regulary pops up in the BMW forums. But unfortunately BMW product management has lost their mind a while ago. They tell us ///M is a sports car, we can't build ///M EVs because batteries are too heavy. Fine, but why are they building monstrosities like the X ///M models? I really struggle with their recent huge kidney designs and the FWD 1, which i hate to the bone.

Because there's a difference between alot of people on the internet saying they want it than people who will actually buy it, and I think BMW is aware that people want to see an M Touring but know that in the end, they wont sell as much.

Man I work at the port and seen an M3 CS that came through new from the factory it was gutted and the inside was a race car..It had slicks on it, exposed fuel tank, battery system and everything

Cost I can tell you is a lot, more than you’d first imagine. Finding someone to do it all depends where you are. It requires bodywork and coding along with all the mechanical work. We wouldn’t take on a project like this.

M3 CS did not get the OLED lights like the M4 CS/GTS. Also the Saloon and Touring lights are different shapes so would not fit. These are genuine BMW Darkline rear lights, which are very similar to the M3 CS'.
