I know the r32 engine can take 500hp at the crank on stock engine. Only thing that is needed is a compression plate which isn’t too difficult to do.

The a3 I think you should do a budget build a turbo wheels suspension brake improvements ie tyrol caliper kit better discs and pads and lines and a face-lift and raffle it off be a good series, maybe let us vote on some part choices etc.. I'd like to know a bit more about the CAMS. How do you solve the riddle of the changed V angle using a 3.2 15 degree crank in a block with a 10.5 degree V. I'm assuming a 3.2 spec cam with adjustable gears to allow it to be dialed in to the crank. I'm looking at putting a 2.8 crank in a 3.6 block, with 3.2 cams as a way to make a cheap 3.4lt with low compression. A cheaper way to 700hp with a large capacity low compression VR. Gravituned Power need to get their store finished. I'd certainly be buying from them if they had the products and support to allow people to do these builds.

My wife has a mk 3 Leon and they are lovely drive this is going to be insane when done. With the A3, I think still use as a doner car and do a competition build car for everyone to follow.

Sequential gearbox would be cool, but same as the Teg. RS3 DCT would be cooler imo , but you’d need a fully built one like the IROZ guys are running in the states, would be hella expensive

Top build the Leon will be a beast, as for the A3 budget sleeper, budget turbo conversion, budget big brake it surely you can raid the vag part's bin & some cheapish suspension mods but keep it stock looking on the outside

Does the BWS have it? That would be the easiest option in terms of registration and stuff... There's also BLV, BLH, AXZ and probably one or two more

Really seems like it would be better having the turbo at the rear here ! Bad weight distribution, low clearance... sorry if I sound mean and please correct if I am wrong. For info, turbo lag due to the distance is not a real thing. The heat might become an issue soon or later and maintenance will surely be a pain in the butt
