In this video we have a look at the geology of the Potosi Silver deposit in Bolivia and have a close up look at a couple samples, then at the end talk briefly about how important it was for world history. An argument could be made for this being the most important mineral deposit in Earth history as it was the fuel for the global trade for the Spanish empire. I only touch briefly on the geology in order to keep the video short, please let me know if you'd like a longer version in the comments.
