DragonMum13 what year did you graduate and where do you live? because I'm from Pennsylvania originally and granted we didn't learn about this particular town but I graduated in 1998 and we learned about Auschwitz and some of the war with Nazis when I was in school in the '90s. We learned about this stuff in social studies. So I'm curious if you said you've never heard about it or maybe it's just maybe you've never heard about this particular place..

I’m from WV in the USA and that right there fills my heart with tears for those who were killed in that village and everywhere the nazis terrorized people. I’m 18. I’ve learned history in high school. That doesn’t mean anything compared to what’s in those glass tubes. Heck, there is still the sound of gunshots and you can hear them too. That’s just not… right. This is just sad. It’s just sad. I am soo very sorry. My condolences to those whose families have survived and have to live with not only the guilt but the sadness of what happened to them. The only way that we don’t have another world war, is to fight hate with love. We just have to love, y’all. If you love enough, you will eventually stop hate temporarily. And though hate will always linger, if we love enough there will at least be more love than hate. I just want to say that i love everyone and let’s all be together and understand one another. I don’t want another massacre to happen like it did during “those” times. I just don’t. Again… God bless y’all, and love y’all too.

Hi Karl. My Nan was also a young girl that had to escape Europe from the Germans, sadly the rest of her/our family were killed by the Germans and she was the only survivor 💔. This is an incredibly powerful video and investigation, God bless and thank you for hi-lighting the disgusting evil acts of the German army. Sending love and prayers 👋💜👍🙏🤗♿

You brought up a good point. When I visited Dachau it was in 1986. I was 23 years old. I think we had a small amount to get in. Not sure since I was with a student group. It was very quiet and there was not the over commercialization that is happening these days. I agree no one should be profiting off the concentration camps with excessive entrance fees!♥️🕊️🕊️🕊️🙏🙏🙏♥️

This was an unbelievably moving and heartbreaking video. The severity and the utter realness was so overwhelming. I honestly had to stop halfway through due to how emotional I became. I have every intention of finishing it for sure. My empath energy was on overload, and I had to give myself time to have a reset. I know that may sound crazy, hell I’m not sure. But this touched me to my core. Thank you, genuinely for sharing this. This was an ugly, terrible time in history. But we need to remember, just as you both said, it really wasn’t so long ago. It needs to never be forgotten. This was beautifully and respectfully filmed Karl. Thank you for sharing something I never even knew happened.

That was really interesting but so sad and shocking knowing hundreds of innocent men, women, children, baby's lives just taken away. I wasn't taught about the two big wars in school, I've only seen bits on TV. I can't comprehend how those men at that time were so inhumane, had so much hate, were so evil to other human beings they could do what they did then celebrate after. Its so sickening. Anyway brilliant video Karl and Sarah made with so much respect, I can only imagine the atmosphere as you're walking around those ruins and seeing people's possessions just left as it was then.

I remember seeing this place on a t.v program about a year ago and the part about the church always sends a shiver down my spine. I think you both did an excellent job of retelling what happened here because you mentioned things I didn't even know. Another amazing investigation Darksider. In answer to the question about the car given that it has a very small Lion head on the crest of the bonnet I think it is some type of Peugeot because to this day they still use a Lion for their emblem. Given the shape of the vehicle and the time period is could possibly be a Peugeot 302 or a 402. A boulangerie is more of an everyday bakery making bread and basic cakes where as a patisserie is more of a cake artisan, they create more specialist and aesthetic cakes.

Horrifying. I too had relatives flee Germany and Belarus during the war. Just so you know, “furor” in French is “fury” as opposed to “fuhrer” which is German for leader. Hi Karl, as I started to hear you tell your story about your Grandmother, it gave me flashbacks of my Grandmother my mom's mother told me stories of what the Nazis did her Parents Parents had to escape from them, I'm Russian Romanian And I think German Jew, So I understand completely what you are feeling and idk if I have German in my Generation but I heard some sad, horrible stories my Family went through trying to Flee from the Nazi Cus we were JEWISH 🇮🇱✡️🕍 and Hitler hated anyone who didn't have blond hair, blue eyes, etc.... I had the blond hair when I was younger still have the Blue Eyes, but my hair had darkened as I got older, anyhow, my mom's Parents were Both JEWISH, RUSSIAN ROMANIAN, FRENCH, My Dad is SCOTTISH IRISH, but I want to say I CAN RELATE TO HOW YOU FEEL MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER SHE NEVER WANTED TO TALK ABOUT THE HOLOCAUST, AND THE CAMPS MY FAMILY ANCESTORS WERE PUT INTO AND HOW THEY TORTURED, ETC...... YOU GET THE PICTURE SO YEAH, MY FAMILY ESCAPED AND FLEE TO NEW YORK ETC...... THEN THEY ENDED UP OWNING HALF OF CONEY ISLAND, MY MOMS GRANDFATHER HE INVENTED, WELL I CAN TELL OR SAY A LOT OF MY FAMILY HISTORY BUT THEY ENDED UP VERY RICH, SO THE STORY HAD A POSITIVE ENDING, BUT THE HATE IS STILL GOING ON TODAY WITH SKIN HEADS, ANTISEMITISM, THE HATE OF JEWS, NAZI SYMBOLS PAINTED ON TEMPLES SYNAGOGUES,AND JEWISH FAMILY HOMES, OVER 70,000 HATE MAIL,AND ACTS GOING ON TILL THIS DAY!!!!!!! #🟦 PROTECT SAVE THE JEWS!!!!!! 🕍🕍🧿🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱✡️🕍 TY FOR THIS EPISODE OF AN AMAZING VIDEO👍🏻🔔❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍

Das Reich had an officer who took revenge on Oradur civilians, when the Maquee tortured & burned alive in an oil drum, another SS officer! The 2 officers were good friends. When the german high command found out about Oradur, they were horrified! The original officer who ordered this ghastly massacre, was reduced in rank & sent back to the eastern front! Das Reich as a whole then continued to Normandy! The French government post war, decided to leave the village as is! A permanent reminder....

I went there about 2007 as my brother lives in Saint Martin De Jussac. I went out on the road near the cemetery for a cigarette as smoked back then and left the family the other side of the wall. When I came back in my wife said I bet you thought that was funny did you!!!!!! While I had been outside on the road.....small stones had been falling....as if being thrown onto to the gravel path they waited on. From your video additions have been made and modernised in remembrance...........but still remember the sadness surrounding the whole thing and the silence of the place. They had an underground memorial of all the personal belongings found and collected of those who perished. Very very moving. Great video and great content to make this story told

This was an incredibly sad episode. I know that throughout history there are stories of people exterminating other people and every such story is plain evil, but this is not so long ago or far away (I’m in the UK) so it hurts even more. I am so glad you are showing us and telling the story, it needs to be told. You got some amazing evidence. My hope is that mankind steps into a period of kindness and love to one another where no such cruelty goes in…. I can at least hope and pray for that. It was hard for us to watch but boy it must have been hard to film too, thank you. ❤

This episode is beyond anything paranormal, its much deeper. I'm really glad you both took the time to visit the area and raise awareness to the atrocities commited back then. I visited a place in Prague, a camp where people were kept prior to being moved to one of the Autzwitz camps. Bullet holes in the walls, gallows, cells the size of a smsll bathroom that would house 100 people, taking turns to breathe out a small hole in the wall. If anyone here knows what areas like this are like will know the energy in those places are real! Sad, despairing and immensely painful. This awful part of human history must not be forgotten or else risk it being repeated.
