I can’t get over how amazingly relaxed he is. He is in a deep sleep. He must have been uncomfortable before and now with his body work that tension is being released. Such a wonderful sleep. So sweet.

I have said for many years that massage therapy is the BEST of all treatments available for many many disorders. Lots of people have laughed at me, but THIS just proves my point. That baby is a perfect classic example of it. I applaud Dr Paul for having this as a list of available therapies in his practice. Bless you forever. You should be given the congressional medal of honour, for your services to paediatrics not to mention an unlawful and totally unjust withdrawal of your medical licence (now thankfully reinstated).

I think this is enjoyable to the baby, and I do it often to my son...but healing to a lot of conditions, or disorders?...I dunno...need more time and actual data.(follow ups)(there's a whole theory --for adults-- about how proper neck alignment fixes 'things' too) The way this little guy suckled on his fingers was so adorable.

@@B.Mega.D If you see it in action and you've experienced healing then you'll believe it. Otherwise, people like you will just ask for proof. Message therapy can heal. It's called therapy.

In India, we give newborn babies massage with baby oil everyday once or twice till they are 1 year old. It really helps them sleep well n it's good for their digestion (like gentle back n tummy massage) . N after that we give them bath with lukewarm water. N then swaddle them with cotton cloth. Babies tend to sleep really well if swaddled from the beginning. 👶👶💜💜

Canada. I had twins by emergency section at 34 weeks, when one twin showed distress. I was already in hospital, thankfully. They were after at 6,5 lb and 5.5 lb for the distressed baby. There was no ultrasound in the city and I had been told it would be stillborn or deformed, but both were healthy and some premature and immature problems. Smaller twin had mild cerebral palsy, and his feet mimicked club foot. I was a nurse so immediately did range of motion exercises to keep him flexible, and to get the foot to rotate out. The best tool came later with the Jolly Jumper, as they loved the bouncing and he did concentrate on putting his foot with the sole down, correcting it with play.

I massaged my son after his bath from birth and he was the most chilled baby. We always focus on what the mother goes through giving birth but forget that the baby has been through it too being squeezed repeatedly and squashed out an opening not big enough for them. I love being massaged so why wouldnt a baby? He was so relaxed i nealry fell asleep watching him.

Darling baby! My grandson wasn’t rolling over at eight months, so mama took him to a chiropractor. After two visits he was able to roll. And has been fine… it just took a bit of catching up with gross motor skills. He was walking by 15 months, so not too bad. These types of alternate methods of treatment can sure do the trick!

That little one was clearly feeling very tender and that would not be comfortable! That is such a calm little one, calmest kid under about 2-3 I’ve seen in a very long time! This is just even more proof that body work is a very useful thing and can be very helpful in medicine! Babies will find a way to get you to stop working with them if they don’t like it… often by being very squirmy. Of course this is normally comment since but please wash everything that your baby puts in their mouth before and after it happens if possible, their will end up being germs on whatever they put in their mouths and we don’t want anyone getting sick.
