I really like it whenever the narrator says “van Manderpootz”. I just can’t imagine the name being said any other way. It cracks me up EVERY time! Serious! I think Weinbaum was a genius and the poor guy died way too young.

A very imaginative and amusing spin on the "what if" that we ask ourselves in our lifetime (i.e.what if I had chosen the other career, or moved abroad, or marrried Tom instead of Paul, etc.etc.) And with two funny characters: the rich, spoiled chronic procrastinator and the egomaniac scientist.
