I almost didn’t watch the rest of this, cause I already know not to say that…. Glad I thought again. I’ve been practicing assiduously for three years and never liked my sound. I think I kept ignoring fundamentals that I “already knew”…. Time to start over.

Great video! As I've found with many interests that I have, the more I think I know, the more I realize that I don't know anything. Or better, I have only just begun to scratch the surface of what there is to know. Sometimes, I have to fight the frustration of there being so much to learn while thinking, at age 64, that there's very little time left to do it. At those times, I have to remember that I've chosen to run a marathon not, a sprint and I probably don't need to learn every little thing there is to know.

Forgive me Jaime, 😂😂😂, I´m still in that group and at that point where I can´t say anything other than: “ I play the sax not only with those four mistakes, but I also have 20 or 30 more like few others…, Thanks for your help, you make every thing easier and much better for us. Thank you for your enormous help to continue learning. Music is life and vice versa‼️. A big hug. Sorry for my poor english. Abrazo grande Jamie.

As I try to play death by glamour on Alto sax I can get the first part good and I try not to say "I can't do this" or "I'm not gonna play this for a solo" I tell myself to keep trying but I just give up and try another song, once again I can't get i can't get it...

@@GetYourSaxTogether I'm serious. I'm just off to play at a wedding fair (I play tenor sax at receptions etc). People often say how much they like my interpretation (i.e embellishment ) of songs. Where did I learn to do that..?
