CPU Steve is baffling in general. It seems to be programmed to basically give up on mining for a while any time it gets interrupted, and also sometimes starts placing random blocks *until* it gets interrupted, so it just kinda runs itself out of resources constantly, pretty funny.

It's possible that could work. I think the amibos almost always roll instead of letting their shields break if they are trained to hold shield though, but there may be a way of getting around it!

Seeing amiibo content reminds me of the time I wanted to get a brawler amiibo. I dodged a bullet by not doing that. Brawler AI, amiibo or not, refuses to use side b or feint jump as a recovery, and refuses to use the second half of soaring axe kick. I was planning to make it a non spirit training dummy, how was I supposed to do that when it refuses to use half his moveset correctly?

I gave my Steve Amiibo the Roxas spirit, and it somehow translated into instant nils in diagonals so he started cranking 90s every time he landed an up tilt and it's terrifying. Also the double weapon attack up made every move a shield break

I’m sad that I didn’t know about the tournament, because I think I actually have a worse amiibo. A level 50 named googlchrom, who mind you, I trained as hard as I could with spacing and combos and so forth. He almost exclusively does rising up air and dash back forward tilt. I once stood still and timed how long it took him to hit me. 37 seconds.

Currently my worst amiibo is my Orange Inkling Girl, Citrusceph. She does nothing. She cowers and jumps into attacks. Even my Dread Samus, Dreadmus fights back more than she does, and they fight similarly. The best one is a tie between my Mega Yarn Yoshi, Godzilla, Min Min, Nudall, and Hammer Slam Bowser, HSB. Godzilla has the giant attribute and hits hard, Nudall is strong and likes to keep her distance, and HSB is just Bowser with power, enough said.
