The WORST Bootleg Console Ever!
I went to a comic book store and ended up finding this strange plug and play system for just 16 bucks! My curiosity got the better of me and I ended up buying it. So what is the Power Kracker and was it worth the money?

yeah I had the one shaped like an N64 controller... found it at a sketchy looking corner store that sold stuff like that and knock-off beyblade tops... I figured I'd heard a lot about these weird pirate multicarts and clone consoles, I kinda wanted to own one just to say I have it, lol. but on the plus side it did include a famicom cart slot so you could play those on it at least.

That was my thinking. I just wanted to try it out of curiosity and now it happily rests on a shelf in my closet. Kind of cool that you could play actual Dani on games though since it’s probably cheaper than an actual famicom

It's kind of interesting that the games are NES games. It would be neat to know whether it has some microcontroller with some kind of NES emulator inside it or is it something more hardware based. Does it say what year it is from? The menus themselves are exactly the same as lot of bootleg NES "320-in-1" or whatever cartridges, so it basically probably just emulates one bootleg nes rom that contains all the other roms too. I had some of those pirate NES cartridges back in the 1990s and hoo boy the value was insane, you could basically play almost all of the base nintendo library for cheap, which most of the games were pretty crap and/or not released in PAL region, and totally out of reach for a kid normally. It's kind of weird there wasn't licensed version of those kind of multi game cartridges with games like Mappy and Nuts'n'Milk and Kung Fu and Goonies etc.

If it were the 80’s the value would be great but now you can just emulate any nes game for free. So it emulates a rom of other roms lol
