Totally agree on everlast stuff. As you said when I was new, I went to sports direct and bought the EL gloves. After 3 months the material inside just ripped on a thumb area...total rubbish.

I have the Reyes head guard with bar, it was my first facebar helmet and I’m so sad I invested so much money in it. I took an uppercut in sparing and the helmet pulled up causing the neck strap to pinch my wind pipe. I had a bruised wind pipe for almost a month. I wish I knew beforehand, but I’m just going to continue using this head guard as 300 euros was a lot and buying another head guard isn’t possible ….. 😢

can`t agree with the first one, safety first, i haven`t been punched more with this type of headgear and can see well enough, cant back that brand but the one from venum is elite, you can eat punches easily and not worry about your nose being fd up. It's great for amateurs
