TBH the fact that these guys are so quick to dismiss the 911T shows that really they're all about posing, looks, and badges and have no interest in the act of driving. This car is all about the joy of driving and offers a real slice of driving joy for a half decent price. Yes it's not the fastest to 60, but I'd imagine around a circuit it'll show up many cars in its price class.

It's 1/4 the price of a used 911R. Is it a 4 times less car than the 911R? I don't think so. And the GT3 are at least 60% more. It's a good 911 when you consider it's position in the range.

I’d take a 911 as a daily, but to my specs make it look aggressive. I wouldn’t take it racing like a straight line because it’s only over 300HP, a Zl1 and Zo6, and Demon would smoke it. I bet there are others but I just named a few.
