In my mind, the deck that Gundam Aerial wants to be in is one that plays a lot of Command cards in the same turn and reducing its costs better allows you to dump your hand the turn it comes down

The funny thing about Side 7 not offering much protection is that it's pretty faithful to the anime. Side 7 base was breached & torn apart by Zaku II in the first episode of Mobile Suit Gundam. Even when the Gundam defeated the Zakus, the impact of the battle severely damaged Side 7 even more 😅

I have have so much faith in the future of Gundam Aerial let me cope lolll. My Academy SEED deck beta cards has been pretty consistent so far. But Aerial is lack luster for now. BUT I HAVE FAITH

Aerial Rebuild will probably help if that is the LR for the Academy cards. Also they might still adjust the cards for the full release.

Aerial will be good in a Tempo strat. Hope we get some support for that. Play some cheap commands to bounce, kill or tap opposing treads, then drop Aerial and link for more value. Still depents on the abillity to get through 0/5 bases consitently 😅

I don't think Side 7 is that horrible, since at the very least it costs 1/1. I guess if you were playing like a mono color only tournament it is usable at least.

I'm not sure if that's how that works. The two players do not actually share a hand. In fact the (admittedly very short) rules for 2v2 point out that players cannot lend each other cards or use each other's resources to play cards.
