There was legal issues that stopped s1 ep8 from being released due to Bee being voiced by Kesha. Originally, Kesha sang “cotton candy”, but her producers said it couldn’t be released due to legal reasons. The helluva boss team waited for it to be approved but eventually got tired and hired a singer similar to Kesha to sing the song instead (I forgot her name). A lot of people got confused thought Kesha sang the song, but no, Kesha only voices Bee and does not sing cotton candy. Somewhere, there is a version of cotton candy that is sung by Kesha, but we can’t hear it due to legal reasons. Also, for clarification, Bee is the princess of gluttony which is why she was powers and authority.

Kesha broke off with her production company a couple days before the episode was released, finally allowing the helluva boss team to release s1 ep8.

Bee was voiced by Kesha, so her legal issues with Dr. Luke are probably what caused the episode to be delayed. I'm pretty sure the reason behind Loona being so absent in s2 is because Erica Lindbeck's (Loonas VA) boyfriend, fellow voice actor Billy Kametz, passed away a little over a year ago. This is still technically s1, I'm assuming it was recorded before then since Ozzie's released in 2021.

Queen Bee-lzebub's character was actually inspired by one of Vivzi's first characters from the "Die Young" video. She then made it more like Kesha, damn, she even hired Kesha to voice Queen Bee. So Queen Bee is basically Kesha as a Hellhound.

I think the cotton candy song is about gluttony, like it is what they want not need, and i also think that because she can taste the emotion in her party, she concerned about the unhealthy emotion or sth Blitz have and it actually does lead to the thing Blitz with the other guy is doing. I don't really thing she is mean or mad or sth, she does point out that Blitz is kind of drunk and causing trouble. She genuinely concerned about it, she is the embodiment of gluttony but she recognizes that there is an unhealthy aspect to what Blitz is indulging in that scene. Cotton candy is one of those treats that does taste good, but will never fill you up, just make you sick after a while.
