I was driving to Calais recently, and I was coming off the motorway, and a truck driver drove into me. I even have video footage. I don't know if he can get a ban for something like that.

Hi last week I was playing TruckersMP and I was in Duisburg and I regretted going there because in order to get out of that town because I had to stand in traffic for so long but somehow I managed. As already mentioned, Duisburg is lost in the traffic and as a player you often end up standing there for 5 minutes waiting until the spot is free.

Ye Duisburg has been really bad. Even after the slight change TruckersMP made to the traffic light signals to allow players from highway to turn left into the city gas station, doesnt help. For me the main issue is the service station where everyone spawns or get teleported. Then they cause the chaos

Yesterday, two trucks completely blocked the exit road of CAlais and ruined traffic for at least 10 minutes. Even if admins don't look at in-game reports, they should at least check cities like in this video.

There cant be admins 24/7 always around. Everyone tries their best, but this is still a volunteer work, we, as TruckersMP staffs, are not getting paid and people still has their work, studies, family etc. While its unfortunate to happen that, if we get some trollers, ye 🫠

​@@Turgineer We dont really have working hours, but activity is required. I'm not sure if I can go deeper in the topic. But it varies as well depending on people timezones etc. But during 19 I would say is when you have more staffs. Still there are more at the weekend.

@@tunatmp I applied for a Moderator job in January to contribute to moderation, but I was rejected before I could be called for an interview. Later, a former admin told me "you can only be called for an interview if you write an extremely long form". My bad luck. Even if they recruit again this January, I don't think I have a chance. Last month, I did not give way to someone who was illegally overtaking and I reported him. The admin who looked at the report gave me a penalty for not giving way to a truck that was illegally overtaking. So, I have been banned for the first time since 2017, great.

​@@Turgineer The game moderation role the managers have several players applying and they reject a lot of people that could have potential in that first phase if indeed you make it a bit shorter. Dont write a book, but enough to be good. I know its easy to say, but hard to put in practice. But ye, for them having an individual interview with each person would be quite complicated. This unfortunately works the same way in the job market, sometimes you are rejected even without going to the interview. For example my case, I started as a translator. Then I transfered to support and then to game moderator, instead of joining game moderation directly. About the other situation you mentioned, if you were banned and dont agree, create a ban appeal. If the ban appeal is rejected and you still dont agree, create a feedback ticket. If it was a warning, its a note we take but not a ban. Anyway, its possible to apply 12 months later after a ban and it doesnt affect your application, if what happened wasnt intentional. We have several staffs that had bans in the past in their profiles.

Could the system automatically prevent honking in certain parts of the city or at busy intersections, similar to how the speed limiter works in cities? There could also be an option to automatically kick players out of the game if they honk 2-3 times within a 15-second period.

Yes, is not that hard to code that. Like TruckersMP has with truck lights, if you dont turn on, you are kicked after few seconds. The same could be applied for the horns, if you are pressing the horn for more than 5 seconds you get a warning, at 10 seconds you are kicked, for example.

I have a question because there are two workshops in Duisburg and wouldn't it be possible to add a function where you could choose which service you want to teleport to because there are always a lot of players on the main one and it's hard to leave and there are fewer on the second one and wouldn't it be better to be able to choose where you want to teleport to? By default the game teleports you to the closest repair station. I believe it should be possible, but I'm not inside of ETS code logic. About the old Duisburg, it was working without issues, but I believe TruckersMP is not planning to get back their version.
