You can save statues by not investing on Martel, just go Lohar with Zhuge, its more than enough to chain barbs, can go over 1000.

I actually think Marget and babur could be decent for f2p players since they can get a lot of passive kills just sitting behind a city. Also they did recently get buffed so now their active skills do a meda amount of damage 2400 for babur when at melee range. When that is combined with talents from the engineering tree giving a literal 20% skill damage taken reduction and a extra 20% counterattack damage plus 18% of stats from the support tree they can trade really well.

I've been using the ranged comms in my kvk and they shred, 1:3 trades at worst and 1:7 at best so far against a lot of whales and this is with f2p tech and an unmaxed margaret plus all of the other things ranged is missing like the soon to be added legendary wep/ranged accessories, and someday the siege civ/city theme aswel so there is a lot more potential. The downsides are the super high investment costs and that you can't really play with both a ranged march and normal marches at the same time because you have to pay a lot of attention to how close the enemy are to ur tower which kinda pushes you into going all in on ranged combat which isn't great right now considering there's only 1 march, however they mentioned recently that there will be new ranged comms coming in the near future with what i expect to be some form of AoE dmg.

That's really interesting! I've seen people get nice trade ratios but the trades themselves are relatively small since the DPS isn't that crazy. But if it works for you then keep it up!

That is true you're not going to be cranking out the dps like the huo's and zhuge's but it's still a respectable amount, after all the enemy marches keep backing out of my range 🤭 and the dps is constant and the trades are very efficient, they also debuff march speed by 30% and defense by 40% so whatever ur shooting at isn't gonna have a good time 😂, if the recent dev comments are anything to go off then the next two comms should have higher dps @@OmniarchOfficial🤭

Oddly enough I have seen farms or alts on the field using their ranged. I know vip etc isn’t exactly high but kills are kills when it comes to kvk and if you are in a kingdom that wants both kills and deads for all accounts over a certain power it’s helpful! (I have 2 accounts that have them 🙈. Also last kvk I was in I seen Richard kill many players. He definitely hurt. I am not sure what that player did but he had a lot of people questioning his build equipment and armaments etc

I don't think any of the streamers have given the ranged commanders a fair shake since their last update. It doubled their damage as far as I can tell. I've got expert Babur, working on Margaret now. It certainly doesn't have the punching power of other commanders given 50% debuff at range, but way more consistent combat means more skills used. Meanwhile ranged basic and skill damage is not mitigated by skill and normal damage reductions.

Altho I have a question, as a f2p player my city has been caught and swarmed in the past cause I made a mistake, if I'm not going to invest in garrison comanders the what shoul I use to protect my city in those rare ocations?

16:18 sadly invested in Amanitore at the beginning of this year end of last year. I like her as a historical figure so thats how I cope with that decision

@@animatedsunday6481 she’s a risky investment. I maxed her when she was considered in the top 4 Archers but she got pushed out when Zhuge got introduced. Open field you could do Amani/Artemisia or Boudica/Amani or Henry/Amani her big benefit is the AOE & she’s tanky. She can’t duel tho.

My current kvk i had abt 100 leg keys. On hearts Desire i slotted YSS Guan CJ Saladin and Tommy. How bad would rate my picks?

YSS is garrison don’t need that, Guan Yu (most people wouldn’t invest in him because of other better commanders but usable but targeted in the field), CJ is mid but not seen in the open field that much, Saladin is a season 2 and 3 after that he would get targeted in the open field, Tommy is the same with saladin

I put 321 Universals into Mulan in 2020-21. Worst thing I’ve done with my account. I didn’t know it takes 690 to expertise. So when I got her 5515 I stopped. I should’ve never invested any universals into her

honestly f2p litterally only have like 6-8 commanders they should even remotely consider inverting in at any point of time. right now, in no particular order, it's nevsky, huo, joan, liu, scipio, zhuge, boudica. i straight up think investing in any other commander as a f2p, especially a new f2p, is a big mistake. once herman comes out he'll most likely join the list, after that there will start being some hard cuts with probably boudica dropping off and a new cav comm being added in that round.

I need help, please. I have 864 GH and I have some dilemma if I should invest on Lui Che and Sargon or max Zhunge Liang & wait for Hermann Prime and max him or should I just max Zhunge Liang & make Boudica as 5551 (not sure if I'll max her) Expertised - Guan, Scipio, Alexander and Æthæfled 5551 - Zhunge Liang 5550 - Sargon 5511 - Boudica Prime

It really depends on how soon your next KVK fight is. If you're not going to need to fight until January then I'd say just wait for Hermann Prime (or at least wait until sometime in december when we'll probably know their skills) Otherwise, if you need to fight and can run 2 infantry armies, I'd say leave your sargon where he is now and max Liu Che. Then you can run LC/Sargon and Guan/Scipio. I'd also consider getting a cav march too though

In my opinion max Zhuge (his expert is just too good to resist) and pair him with Boudica 5511 while waiting for Hermann's leaked skill first or until he gets released with real test. Herman most likely will be single target comm, a replacement for Boudica and probably can counter Liu Che.

@@OmniarchOfficial OMG 😱 you replied! 😭 Actually were in the middle of kvk, I actually have a 2 decent(?) Infa gear so running 2 infa is okay. But then again like you always say on your video, focusing solely on Infa nowadays are not good. So I'm trying other troop type. So even though I need to make a decision soon, I'll probably wait just to not have some regret later on. About having a Cav march, trust me, I'd love to but I focused on Infa 😭 which I greatly regret when joining city rallies and I was reminded why having a decent Cav march is a must 😭 Anyway, thanks for your response 😁 I appreciate all your efforts 👍

@@zaiminnosi2905 yes, I'll definitely max him and will probably wait to make a decision after we've seen some test results of Hermann Prime. Cause if Hermann isn't much of an upgrade from Boudica, then I might as well just max Boudica than Hermann. But knowing how newer commander are better than older ones, that's what stopping me from doing so even though we do have some preview of his skills that has a possibility to change. nope, I'm f2p and I did fine with beli/cc cuz cc was 5111 when fights started and everything looked ok and in kvk 2 you can technically make alex 5511 or sala 5551 with aethel and trade really great. My kvk 2 just finished and I was in A seed kvk and had really cool trades with sala/aethel like 1:1 vs big whale t5s and 1:4 vs normal t4 players at least , in kvk1 inf people can also do sun/bjorn and trade really cool like one of my friends did and if your trades aren't good means you just dont know how to fight

Pyrrhus is a F2P trap like thutmose, they get good around 5551 but if you’re F2P should stay clear from them. They are great to have fun with in KVK 1 like 5-1-1-1 or 5-5-1-1 with a max purple commander like Sun tzu or Kusunoki Respectively as their primary commanders. Better to focus on CM if you want scaling for SoC 4th march. Can’t use mehmed unless 5511 double relic if you don’t have YSG as Scipo P. As for aethelf ….????

Ysg isn't bad he is good season 1,2, and 3 can be helped with a exp ysg if posible more relaxed players ones who don't rush vip 10 and 12 should 100% stay clear when I was a more casual player I got a 5111 ysg and I prob won't every max him plus if your doing ruins and don't get targeted fast a zhuge ysg can get you some really good trades

i hoard GH from kvk1 to kvk2. managed to save 1500GH now before entering kvk3 next week. fought in kvk1 and 2 using martel sun, and it was fine if you pick your target carefully

Margret and Babur are not as bad as you think for f2p in the open field. You say "you dont have the gear", but that's true for every troop type until you craft it. Reach out to Phil from 2884 for an interview. Phil clears 30 million kills per KvK using only siege. Just for giggles he also clear 20K points in gathering in OL.

I mean i'm not saying it's impossible to get kills with them but the opportunity cost is so astronomically high that nobody should ever prioritize ranged commanders until they have 5+ solid pairs already and nothing better to do.

Is better to work on arch/inf/cav equipment than to go on siege. Tower might be decent but you need a alliance that protects And is really niche. Towers is useful more for spenders or farm accounts

@@ramos_pinho117 Is it? Are they? 1. The context is F2P KvK 1 and 2 accounts headed to KvK 3 and beyond. Unless you're a whale (F2P remember) you don't have any legendary gear. 2. Setup your tower to protect the garrison. The rally will constantly be within range of your tower, and you will constantly be debuffing the tower. Feel free to check the skills on the two commanders. Sometimes commanders are bad, but sometimes players lack imagination.

@@john2g1 if they are raiyling they have field. Means they gonna woop your ass tower. And towers can t shoot thru a pass. And towers take CA damage from 2m-3m troops. And you using siege the most expensive and slowest unit ever. If it works for you nice for you but is really a bad/noob advise

2:57 I agree. I took your advice on my F2P restart project and 5111 Richard is ridiculous for barbs. However, I got my Richard to 5111 through spinning to 10 on every wheel that came, I also do a couple in Card King & I took some with Desert Tracks event, that got mine to 5111.
