I did very similar testing but at 60-1 (i'm not up to 70-1 in Expedition yet) and I ran Eulji primary and Sun Tzu secondary and I finished with an average of 70,000 more troops than having Sun Tzu as the primary and Eulji as the secondary. I also ran Eulji/Charles (5521) and finished with an average of 72,000 more troops than Sun Tzu/Eulji.

Hey Chisgule! What would Eulji’s build be with those “new” Garrison builds you mentioned at the very beginning? I ask because both of those garrison builds you showed at the beginning of this video are different than the original ones you showed for Sun Tzu and Eulji in your older epic commander talent builds video. I’m assuming I would still pick of the talent “Effortless” in Eulji’s attack tree; but would I develop his garrison/and or archer trees the same as the first two builds you showed in this video? And which of the two builds that you showed around the one minute mark do you recommend?

You know how they say: "You are what you eat". I say in RoK: "You are what your city defense is". Yup, you could be that 80M power guy whose city gets razed in a single rally or a guy with the same power level who successfully tanks two rallies at once. Doesn't matter how good your open-field commanders are, your city is your lifeline. Never sleep on your city defense, it might be a rare occurrence but when it does occur and catches you off-guard, it will be devastating. Just my two cents.

One thing I found that if you skip any commander's skill or his/here talent just bcz it says (% chance) don't skip. That will apply 💯 I checked this several times.

You should do a general test against the leader, so that the player has the best learning, does not gossip much and should create code for the viewer.

Like you said aethflaed destroyed once and not again, regarding that I think difficulty of expedition stages ( x - 2 ) varies every time you redo it. Maybe not every time but it does, maybe be a bug or intentional ~ not sure what is going on, but I do have noticed that from time to time. if you redo lets say 3-4x with aethflaed you will see once or twice she will destroy easily and other time get swarmed as you showed.

Which combination is better for open field, mixed troops. A lvl 50 expertised Sun Tzu with a lvl 35 Charles Martel 5-5-1-1. Or should i keep Sun Tzu as a Garrison, and use The Charles Martel, with a Richard 1's 5-1-1-1? I have 5 million power.

Hey chis! We had shadow legion event today and i only had a 5543 sun tzu and a 5322 boudica as garrison comanders cause my other garrison comanders were still low and my city somehow lasted longer than my neighbour who had a 5511 sun tzu and a 5531 eulji even tho i got swarmed and helped less. Was wondering if that had anything to do with commander build/equipment? Keeping in mind my boudica's build was mostly for rage and skill damage

Nope.. If Aethfled is secondary commander in Garisson then her talents (peacekeeping) and equipments doesn't apply. Only thing that matters is her skills.

If you are going to use YSG in open field as primary commander then you can pair him with Sun tzu or kusonki as secondary commanders with full archers in the march since Sun tzu talent tree only apply when he is primary commander.

Don't use Richard for garrison defence except in Ark of orsis since he heals the troops which results in slightly wounded troops becoming severely wounded and fills your hospital quickly. Instead use Richard for open field battles where he shines. 😀

Why is there so much emphasis on city garrison all the time? Most of the info needed is about flag/structure garrisons. Having your city getting hit is an uber ultra rare instance, like pretty much should never happen.

It’s a low probability, high impact event. Those are worth preparation, but you’re right to ask how much preparation is it really worth

I would say yes, as some of the Sun Tsz talent on the skill tree (clarity and all for one ) is wasted if the secondary commander is not doing skill damage (which Martel is one of them).

I think that was part of my message that it wasn’t totally clear from this testing. A 5511 Martel Is better than an epic. SCipio performed astonishingly well but it feels unusually you would get swarmed by 10 marches, and if you were it’s game over anyways. Kusunoki and eulji are better bets as a secondary to tzu.
