The worst cruise ship mistakes newbies make all the time

I flew in the same day for years. It worked fine. Until it didn't. We missed sail away and were lucky enough to catch the ship next day and boarded then. It was an EXPENSIVE lesson.

A mistake is going to the buffet restaurant on the top deck, especially on the first day before rooms are ready.

Ask for the mini bar to be emptied. On MSC (the only line I have been with), even with the drinks package, you are charged for anything taken from the mini bar even though if you go to a bar you can get the same drink on your package!
