You haven't even started talking in this video, it's the first time I am watching this. And I got tears in my eyes. My mom, I don't want to imagine the day she dies. I don't think anyone wants and my heart breaks for you even if this was so many years ago already. An elderly lady told me that you never stop missing your mom. So Savannah, if I was there today, I would give you a hug. No words, just a hug.

Awww 😢 oh my. I’m sorry. Wow! I was thinking of my own mom. My mom is 85 years old. She got in the hospital last week. Her blood pressure was very high. It was very dangerous and scary. She lives in Az. And I’m here in Utah. When ever I get a phone call from home it scares me sometimes because my parents are not in good health. They could go anytime. I love watching your video. You have a beautiful family. And you are a beautiful strong woman. God bless you and your family.

I was in GA at Bible College when I got the call that my dad had passed; I was from NC. I can't imagine the shock and numbness that you felt being so far from family and friends to support you during your journey home. Sweet, wonderful memories are priceless. My biggest challenge is that I didn't get to tell my dad that I loved him nor did I get to say goodbye. I had called, but b/c he had had company he didn't come to the phone. Savannah, thank you for sharing about your Mom. It's evident she has helped tremendously in shaping your life and in mothering your children. Blessings. Gale Flowers

I’m so sorry you and your family had to endure such a tragic loss. My Mom passed away when I was 25 (8 years ago) after an extended battle with Lupus, while her passing wasn’t totally unexpected, it wasn’t expected to happen so soon, she passed on her 56th birthday. It definitely set me on a path that was so full of sorrow, of feeling like the I was swimming in the deepest, darkest water unable to see let alone breathe from the weight on my chest. I am still walking the journey God set before me..... I still am grieving, learning to not be angry or bitter because I lost not only my Mom but my best friend, finding something that helps stop or at least helps to take the weight off my chest so I don’t feel like I’m drowning and unable to breathe, accepting that while I will not see her in this life I will see her when I am called home and doing my best to help my children who were extremely close to her also walk through their own difficult journeys. People always say that time heals all wounds but I no longer believe that completely, time may help to heal the shock and the memories of her last few days but sometimes it still hurts like it did the day she passed..... I try to find evidence of her in this world, like the beautiful blue hummingbird that showed up shortly after she passed even though I had not been feeling it, sometimes the smallest things help me remember who she was and I aspire to be, that she’s always with me, watching from above and through all the beautiful memories I share with her. I honestly don’t know how I’d deal with my sorrow if I didn’t know that she is now living with God, free from pain and illness and as long as I stay true to Christ, I will one day be reunited with her. Sending you lots of prayers and a HUGE (((HUG)))! Losing a close loved one if hard but with the support of friends and family as well as your faith, the rawness of the sorrow will get better.... The key is keeping yourself focused on God’s word and the promise that our ANGELS will be at the Golden Gates to greet us 😘❤️
