Just when you thought I'd already plumbed the depths when it comes to the worst of the worst Disney games (we're all looking at you, Peetle Pan), there had to be one game that dared to be EVEN WORSE. Two, in fact. Yes, indeed, this month I'm covering two different (but very similar) games based on what is, in my opinion, one of the most undeservedly forgotten Disney movies of all time: Dinosaur. That's right - two terrible games for the price of one. Aren't you the lucky ones?
Both of these games adopt a somewhat interesting look at first glance. Rather than conforming to the usual half-hearted, cookie-cutter platforming template characteristic of a vast array of movie games, these games attempt more of an RPG-style form of gameplay (kind of), and the result is... well, see for yourself. Believe me - you iguana-don't want to play these games! They're ptera-ble. Nothing will tricera-top these tyrannosaurus wrecks! Okay, I'll stop.
Notes that probably no-one will read but I'm writing anyway because it makes me feel better:
1:05 - She was actually going to feed her chicks but saying 'she tried to eat you' packed more of a punch.
12:36 - I'm aware the Styrachosaurus was not a predator. I should probably have said 'enemy' instead, just to avoid confusion. Blame the game for needlessly making this dinosaur evil for no reason.
Thanks for watching again, everyone! I'm intending to be back at Christmas, and afterwards I'll be accepting more requests - I have a lot already but I've decided to cover some new ones next year if you have any more suggestions!
