My biggest problem with "Yakity-Sax" is that not only they tried to replicate "Party of One" and failed miserably, they also made Pinkie an irreconcilable brat."Party of one" was great because it gave Pinkie character development, but it was also a fun and somewhat relatable episode.Like a lot of people said, development for the mane 6 kinda suffered in season 8 and 9, and they just tried to reproduce better episode while failing spectacularly...

I think this is the reason why Rainbow Dash's immense popularity diminished as time went on--not just because fans started to like the other ponies more as they got to know them, but it became clear how much Rainbow gets ruined throughout the show. It's kind of a double standard how Spike's episodes where treated like the plague, when many of Rainbow Dash's episodes were just as bad. Because of the bad press, Spike started to get better episodes, but the same sadly can't be said for Rainbow.

In my opinion the worst episode is The Last Crusade. Scootaloo's parents are awful and it was such a bad time to introduce them, especially since in Parental Glideance Scootaloo talks like she never knew her parents. Scootaloo's parents treat her poorly, they're super dismissive of her interests, totally disregard the importance of the CMCs work, don't care that Scootaloo and her friends made history by being the first ponies with matching cutie marks, and disregard how Scootaloo feels about almost anything. I think the last season was a bad time to introduce her parents, and that it would have been better not to introduce them at all. I think most of the time the worst mlp gets is mediocre, I enjoy nearly every episode and would only call 3 or 4 episodes bad, The last Crusade is one of them.

Yeah I hated that episode and it frankly pisses me off I would have really enjoyed in the episode The last crusade scootaloo's parents just got told off like in parental guidance but it would have been a lot better if they got told off by rainbow Dash's parents because that would have just been so entertaining because rainbow Dash's parents are actually GOOD parents a little overbearing but very supportive

I have not yet checked out The Last Crusade, but I did see a clip of the Cutie Mark Crusaders having a melt down which was hard to watch I'll have to say. I could see why you despise the episode, so I suppose I will take your word for it ;)

From looking at this list I have finally realized that FIM really sucked at writing male characters. Spike, the only boy of the main cast, got several of the worst episodes. Rainbow Dash and Applejack, the most masculine of the Mane 6 also got several of the worst episodes. Not even Discord was spared from having one of them and also other bad episodes. It's weird that the only outlier seems to be Big Mac, tho it surely would have been an achievement if they managed to screw up a character who talks so little.

Here’s my little rant for one of the episodes: You wanna know the worst thing about “2, 4, 6, Greaaat!”, that whole episode was one BIG continuity error. Throughout the whole entire series until that very point we have been known to seeing Rainbow Dash not only as one of the ponies with the most spirit in the show, but also is one who’s known to give advice to others on how to show spirit in general!!! In other words, SHE’S BEEN KNOWN TO DO CHEERING! Example: Griffin the Brush Off, Sonic Rainboom, Friendship Games. The list goes on and on! And then in the final season, we just so happen to get a 180° flip on RD. WHAT, WHY, and HOW?! I DON’T KNOW! Because of that continuity error the episode not only sucked, but RD as well. And this is coming from an RD fan. *sighs* Oh well at least Yona, Ocellus, Smolder, and the two cheerleading mares were cool. Especially, the two mares. Their cute together, I ship it. *end rant*

The only argument I'm willing to listen to for the worst epsiode is Over a Barrel. The show should never have considered addressing the real historical conflicts between Natives and settlers that ended in the genocide, forced removal, and indoctrination of said Natives with a "but we can all be friends" message. It was blatantly ignorant and historically insensitive considering how Native people are still suffering from the effects of colonialism and losing their land.

For Mysterious Mare Do Well, I think it is aight. I can speculate potentially why most of the fans hated the episode, but me? No. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. It is OK in my personal opinion. In RD's defense, she is one of the elements or one of the main protagonists, so I could see how pissed she felt and how fooled she was at the end when she unmasked the costumed mare who was actually cosplayed by her other 5 friends. That part was hilarious. 😂 As for Show Stoppers, it was decent from what I remember. :)

Well, if you look at the top 10, it seems very similar. Five episodes starring Twilight (3 of which are also special episodes, which are almost always about Twilight), one about Starlight (although the excellent rating might have something to do with the royal sisters), two episodes about no one in the main cast, one about Applejack and Fluttershy and one about the CMC. Rarity, Spike, Pinkie, and Rainbow are entirely missing here... It will be interesting to see the most popular episodes of each season. Season 1: Party of One (Pinkie Pie) Season 2: A Canterlot Wedding Part 2 (Twilight) By the way, followed by The Return of Harmony Part 2 (Twilight) and places 3 and 4 are the respective first parts of the specials. Taking out Specials would be a tie between Lesson Zero (Twilight) and Hurricane Fluttershy (Fluttershy). Season 3: Sleepless in Ponyville (Scootaloo) Season 4: Twilights Kingdom Part 2 (Twilight) followed by the Twilight Kingdom Part 1 (Twilight). If you remove the specials again, Pinkie's Pride (Pinkie Pie) would be #1. Season 5: Slice of Life (Background Characters/ Overrated) Season 6: The Saddle Row Review (Rarity?) Season 7: A Royal Problem (Starlight and Royal Sisters) Season 8: Sound of Silence (Applejack and Fluttershy) Season 9: The Last Problem (Twilight) If you count the specials, an episode about Twilight has the season's highest rating. "A Trivial Pursuit" is probably one of those episodes that I personally can't stand. It felt like it belonged in an earlier season, Twilight is being unlikable and pinkie pie is being treated as a prop more than an actual character. She's either smart or random for the sake of the episodes she's put in and for this one... It just felt like all character development was tossed out of the window. Still can't believe they skipped a background episode for Zecora over the top 10 worst episodes, she's been in the show since season 1 and we never got told where she's from or why she's in the everfree forest. Yes, I know the comics and the books are a thing, but crossing information between 2+ sources just makes it a hassle.

The moral of Yakity Sax reminded of another really terrible moral from an episode no one talks about, "Fluttershy Leans In". An episode which literally blames the contractors Fluttershy hires for not being able to read her mind, after she refuses to give them anything concrete to go on, and just recites a bunch of extremely vague emotional nonsense. You know, acting like the worst type of clients you can get in the real world. But somehow the episode, and the entire rest of the Mane Six, side with *her* on this.

My least favorite is road to friendship because because I hate how terrible Starlight treats Trixie and she is one of my favourite characters soo constantly seeing Starlight be mean to her makes me feel soo bad especially the part were Trixie starts crying over her wagon and it's clear that her wagon means a lot to her. Also my list would probably have a lot of Starlight episodes because she is my least favourite character the exception would probably be all bottled up because I like the lesson about not bottleing up your anger also Trixie was greate in that episode.

Non-compete clause S8Ep9 is what i would put first for worst episode of the show because it's the only episode i could'nt watch it until the end because i was so upset this episode happens to exist. After the reveal: wow i got it right and not surprising, an appledash episode about competition in season 8... we already have in season 1 and it was largely better! What were they thinking?! x) I feel so sorry for Spike and Dashie to have so many bad episodes and treatment on their character arc :/

Fall weather friends easily takes the medal for being better than Non-Compete Clause. What a slap-in-the-face that episode was. I feel for Spike too because he seemed so sweet especially to Rarity in the earlier seasons, but then turned into a greedy pig after, not to mention being disoriented by Sludge who was his fake father. Not at all surprised that Father Knows Beast made the cut for one of the top 10 worst. Besides that, there could have been more potential for most of the characters included as a whole.

Tbh, my least favorite has always been Swarm Of The Century. Everyone was dumb in that episode. Pinkie barely made an effort to explain to her friends what she was doing and what they needed to hear about the parasprites, yet the episode blames her friends for not listening to her and that's the whole lesson? And every time they fail, it's because of the dumbest reasons like Fluttershy keeping one of the parasprites after they just got them out of town! There was a point in the episode where they do stop and listen and Pinkie Pie had a chance to explain everything, but instead, because the writers needed the episode to last long enough ig, they made her look dumb instead. Not only that but she leaves her friends to suffer and be tormented by insects instead of actually going to help them until after the town is destroyed? If I saw Rarity battling parasprites and I had the knowledge to stop them I would battle them beside her while explaining what is needed to defeat them. Instead Pinkie just grabs a flute and runs off. Pinkie is my favorite character in the series aside from Discord, so I hated that this episode made her look so dumb for the episode's convenience when her knowledge is literally the whole point of the lesson. But that's just my opinion.

Since I did this for the best episodes, I’ve honestly wanted to give my takes on these as well. Spike at your Service: This one is pretty stupid. It’s one of the lesser episodes in season 3, but at least there were some funny moments and I did like the ending. Father Knows Beast: My gosh I never liked this episode ever since it aired. Sludge was such a horrible character and I totally called that he wouldn’t be Spike’s real dad. The song he sang was awful and even I’d also rather listen to the CMC’s song at the talent show in The Show Stoppers, at least that one was bad in a funny way. (I’d rather watch that episode than this one for that matter, it’s over a million times better) The only things I liked in this one were the interactions between Smolder and Spike, and the montage of the mane 6 helping Sludge recover was entertaining. The Mysterious Mare Do Well: I’ve already said that I also think this one is good. It’s satisfying to see the rest of the mane 6 putting Rainbow Dash in her place and bruising her ego. The lesson about humility and maintaining your ego is also really good. The Cart Before the Ponies: My gosh this episode is painful! I hate how they turn Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash into selfish pricks for nearly the whole episode! Literally the only good part is when the CMCs tell them off at the end. Everything else is complete shit. This is easily my least favorite episode of season 6, which I consider to be the blandest season of the show. (Though not as bad as season 8) Somepony to Watch Over Me: I personally just consider this one average. Applejack is a little too overbearing, though I don’t find it too annoying. It does bother me that she never apologizes at the end though. 2, 4, 6, Greaat: F*ck this episode! It seriously feels like it belongs in the eighth season with how bad it is! Just the last episode that proves why Rainbow Dash is and always will be my least favorite of the mane six. She’s just a massive bitch for no good reason until the very end! Worst of season 9 without a doubt. Princess Spike: It’s pretty dull, but honestly not as bad as most other episodes on this list. One of my least favorite episodes of season 5. Yakity Sax: Fun fact, I actually liked this episode back when it first came out, but after rewatching it earlier this year, I now agree that it sucks. I just can’t understand why Pinkie Pie would give up on everyone and everything just because she’s told she can’t play an instrument! Plus Twilight was also in the wrong for just telling Pinkie to stop playing instead of telling her to take lessons and actually try to improve. And in the end they never solve the problem with Pinkie’s horrible playing! What the hell was the actual point of this? What about Discord?: Yeah this one sucked. I hated how unlikable they made Twilight, especially since she’s my favorite pony. (Along with Starlight) Plus we never get to hear the joke that the mane 5 and Discord keep laughing at. This is one of the most frustrating episodes in season 5, which I hate to say because that’s my favorite season. Non-Compete Clause: Ugh this episode is so annoying! I hate to sound like a broken record, but it basically is a worse version of Fall Weather Friends. (One of my favorite episodes) Applejack and Rainbow Dash’s rivalry is incredibly annoying, they endanger the school children, and they’re both absolute idiots! They got what they deserved when all of this backfired on them. They seriously didn’t deserve to be teachers of the month, and the fact that they just continue to argue in end is just a slap to the face. I wouldn’t consider this the worst episode, but it’s definitely one of the most irritating ones. Those are my takes, and it would be interesting if you shared your least favorite episodes one day.

Swarm of the century, Pinkie Pie was not bothered, but here she was. Nonetheless, I don't exactly know what the writer's plan was for that episode. I can tell that it just didn't work out all too well. The cart before the ponies... I thought it was cool, until AJ, Rainbow, and Rarity all were too careless about the idea of the Cutie mark Crusaders' creativity! I mean let the fillies be creative! But yeah, I think MLP doesn't quite fit the criteria of kart racing. This is a TV show, not a replication of Mario Kart. 😂😂 As for "Father knows Beast", yeah... That was just a cringe fest from start to finish. What about Discord was one of my least likeable episodes with Discord. The only ones I like are "Discordant Harmony," "Dungeons and Discords" and "The return of harmony" because I actually found him entertaining, but "What about Discord?" Not as much. Both Spike episodes were ones I didn't care much for, other than the fact he saved Applejack from the Timberwolves which I thought was sweet, but it could have been better. 2 4 6 Great is also a cringe title, and DOES belong in the eighth season! Not the ninth! That is a huge slap-in-our-faces. Somepony to watch over me is stupid, especially baby-proofing every single thing in the Apple family house just to make Applebloom feel bored out of her mind. I rolled my eyes at that part. Non-compete clause is a sh*tshow of an epsiode, I can agree with an open mind, because A) It is a Fall weather friends reiteration, but margins worse! And B) It is just like The End in Friend, but Rainbow Dash argues with Applejack instead of Rarity. Also a season 8 episode which isn't a coincidence to be honest because that is my least favorite season in the series. Yeah, that is my personal take. So sorry it is so long! But I hope you enjoy :) Also, I made a list of 5 other episodes that I believe are ones that belong in the worst episodes, which you can think of it as my list of dishonorable mentions. Check it out, I think you may agree with most of my points. ;)

@@Enthusiastracer111 Nice to know we can agree on most of these. Yes, Yakity Sax basically was a worse version of Party of One, and that’s one of my favorite episodes. Her being so bad at this one instrument does feel contrived with how great she was at several instruments in Swarm of the Century. As for your bottom 5 episodes, I can definitely agree with The End In Friend because seeing Rarity and Rainbow Dash end their friendship just because they don’t have anything in common is stupid, though I do like the way Starlight snaps at them, I totally felt her in this one. Plus Twilight was kinda stupid by trying to monitor their friendship just to teach it, that’s not how it works! There’s also Flutter Brutter which I found bland. I didn’t like Zephyr Breeze and truth be told I’m not really a fan of most of the ‘assertive’ Fluttershy episodes. (I liked her better when she was shy most of the time, don’t @ me!) PPOV wasn’t that interesting to me, and Secrets and Pies was pretty stupid. I did like Honest Apple though since even though Applejack was a jerk, Rarity gives her what she deserves and she does learn her lesson. The moral of that episode is really good too. Other than that one I can agree with your bottom 5 episodes. Plus I relate to you with a lot of my least favorite episodes coming from season 8 since that’s also my least favorite season as I mentioned.

Yeah, I agree that Father knows Beast is not only a cringeworthy title, but Sludge was rude, inconsiderate, and overall disgusting to listen to. On top of that, the first time I watched the episode, I really started to have a long, scowly face especially after hearing he was not Spike's real "Father". I would be pissed myself if I were lied to and used like that just for the thrill of the other persons enjoyment. It is sad to say, but characters like Spike always are constantly left as an irrelevant character in comparison to other characters in the series. I don't mind him in general, but come on... With times like those, I feel for him and for him to not be nurtured and cared by Twilight, his primary caregiver, it just wouldn't be right... :(

Was somewhat surprised that 22 Pranks Later didn't make it on, so I checked and it seems that that episode just missed out of the top 10 by the looks of it. Still, very good video and while I don't agree with all your opinions on some of these episodes, I do think you made some good/interesting points. I might have to go and take a look back at some of these episodes with your thoughts in mind. On a side note, while I do agree Cart before the ponies is pretty bad, personally I still just can't help but like the song. The race track is very unsafe though seriously someone should sue whoever designed that thing.

10- This episode is one of my guilty pleasures. It's just really hilarious. I also love how he didn't buy the fake timberwolves. One thing that throws me off is how Spike has showned to be a good cook, yet he is horrible here. And yes, burning food can happen with anyone, but he should have the self-awareness that he burnt it. This is something that Sweetie Bell would do... 9- I love the song in this one! The episode is pretty predictable, not gonna lie, but the sibling moments beetween Spike and Smolder are a huge saving grace for this episode for me. It also demonstrates us how creative Spike is with the pillows, it is just a nice character detail I appreaciate. He is finding new hobbies and interests on his own... 8- Everyone learns lessons differently. I don't think Dash's friends went that overboard. I don't really have problems with the episode, I thought it was nice and had a great moral. Oh, and I liked Mare Do Well's costume! 7- I don't like the episode. I like the lesson, but I don't like the way they excuted it. It just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth for some reason. 6- This episode doesn't give any strong feelings for me. It is just kinda there. Kinda boring. 5- I almost forgot this episode ever existed. Hmm.... I liked Celestia in it... The cheerleading clothes look aesthatically pleasing... What else? I got nothing. And Rainbow already give cheering lessons to Fluttershy, so I don't really get her issue with it. 4- When I made a list for my most hated episodes of the show, this was my number one. I only saw it once, but never again. Spike literally ruins everything here. That includes the episode. 3- This was also on my list. Not only the episode, but the lesson is also pretty bad. It's literally "Do whatever you want, EVEN if it causes distress to others, because the only person that matters is you!" I know the lesson was probably supposed to be: "Just because you are not good at something, doesn't mean you can't enjoy it." But that's not how it comes across unfortunately. The only thing that I liked about it that Twilight learned from her mistake from a previous episode. 2- I like the episode, but I get why other people might not. The way how it presents someone not being there for inside-jokes is very much accurate, and for some people it's way too accurate and takes away the enjoyment of the episode. 1- This episode is... I don't know I enjoyed when I first watched it, the second time was whatever, and it felt like it came from a different show, especially with how Applejack and Rainbow didn't learn a thing. They are just stupid here. At least the Student Six got to shine. I would say I am surprised Dragon Dropped is not on the list, but I am not with how many people liked it...

Boast Busters or One Bad Apple sould be in here honestly. Boast Busters gets way too much of a pass for introducing Trixie and being in S1. It's an episode where the Mane 6 get angry at a stage magican for doing her job and Snips and Snails endanger the entire town for shits and giggles and get away with a slap on the wrist. One Bad Apple is an episode that offends me on a personal level. No Babs, you gon't get away with bulling just because you have been bullied. And then the gall of making the CMC the bad guys for standing up to her. It might legit have the worst implecations in the entire show And I'd say it's bottom 3 material. I know I'm in the minority, but I liked "Cart Before the Ponies" b/c it hit me on a personal level: growing up, my mom took over EVERY project I had to do for school/clubs/holidays/etc. And if I tried to raise my voice and say that I wanted to do something different, she guilt-tripped me about how I was being rude for not accepting her help. Watching the CMCs go through that was all too familiar and I definitely enjoyed watching them put their sisters in their place at the end.

Hey, now that you mention it, I got one for you! My list of Top 10 antagonists worst to best (Within every season of the series) #10 Maneiac - Overrated, only evil in a comic book world. It was cool only in the one episode, but then became irrelevant soon after. Which is why she is the worst villain in my opinion. #9 King Sombra - Looks badass I'll admit, but really isn't outside. My least favorite villain of the show, because he only has hatred, which is dangerous, but not as good as Tirek, Chrysalis or Cozy Glow's powers which are more of a threat to the heroes. #8 Diamond Tiara - One I hated before, especially in Ponyville Confidential where she gaslit the CMC's Gabby Gum's reports and made them look like the crowd nobody could stand being around despite their hard work and willingness to do well. In the end, they gained their reputation back and Diamond Tiara got what she deserved. #7 The great and powerful Trixie - Well, I think she is more of an anti-hero doing things for the greater good, but more so for her own pleasure and enjoyment like Deadpool, but she was evil at one point with one of the pendants in Magic Duel. Most think of her as a real villain, but if you disagree with me, I wouldn't be surprised. #6 Starlight Glimmer - Was a villain in both the premiere and finale of season 5 but was later reformed by Twilight's tender advice which I thought was sweet. She was decent as a villain, but better as a hero. She deserves to be nominated as one deep down I think. #5 Cozy Glow - Apart from her incorrect statement about Friendship being power, Cozy is sweet on the outside, but rotten on the inside making her a decent villain to be feared, because she basically attached strings to every plan she did. #4 Discord - He was reformed after season 2, but I'll elaborate only on Return of Harmony when he was really an antagonist. Not only is he a funny villain, but he did well on playing tricks on the Mane 6, reversing their traits to be the opposite of who their character were originally, messing with the weather and gravity and turning all of them to earth ponies by removing Twilight and Rarity's horns and Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash's wings. Man, those times were entertaining to watch in my opinion. #3 Nightmare Moon - Originally and reformed after the Season 1 premiere to Luna, Nightmare Moon was a wicked villain and I liked that the elements of harmony were found by Twilight's group of friends and the second part especially almost made me tear up because of the sisters reunion and Twilight finding her group of best friends. #2 Queen Chrysalis - A master of disguise and one nasty villain not to reckon with lightly. She is a badass villain who I like to think of as the better version of King Sombra because she has more abilities than just hatred. That is why she gets the number 2 spot. #1 Yeah you know who this one is don't you? Yup, it's Lord Tirek - Need I tell you? He is a freaking monster who drains the life of unicorns pegasi and earth ponies and then betrays discord too just to be more powerful! What else?! The fight between him and Twilight? Yes! That one is one we will never forget as fans. This is why Tirek gets the number 1 spot. This is my list!

I'd argue that "Where The Apple Lies" should've been low-rated too. Not only is Applejack being dismissive of her past wrongdoings (which a lot of fans were quick to point out.), but the flashbacks to when she was a foal were insufferable. In every instance where she tries to argue with Big Mac, he always winds up being in the right. Plus, the morale is heavily ruined through the implication that Big Mac stopped discussing his feelings because his own sister gaslighted him into believing that he should listen to her more. HA! There are plenty of episodes (both good and bad) that surround Applejack where the narrative acts against her honest reputation, as shown through her stubbornness in Applebuck Season, Applejack's "Day" Off and Honest Apple. That isn't to discredit better episodes like "The Mane Attraction" and "The Last Roundup" though and the least said about "Over a Barrel" the better. (I'm not about to open the floodgates into indigenous affairs back in the west as I don't feel like being cancelled. Plus, I actually thought that episode was good, even if it did sweep a lot of the actual reality of how the natives were treated under the rug.)

So, the entire ending when everyone rattles on him (even if it is partially deserved) felt mean-spirited given the abuse he was receiving. I swear, he was the series' punching bag for the longest time. (definitely consider it up there with "Ink Lemonade" from Spongebob for being a classic example of a character being mistreated for the sake of a conflict. At least the episode had a happy ending that didn't involve a character throwing up spiders though, unlike Squidward.)

I think we can all agree that *some* of the Spike episodes were definitely the least likeable! Being my least favourite, Princess Spike was not a surprise to see on this list although I was surprised that there was worse rated episodes than it! None-Compete Clause was literally what Fall Weather Friends had already done but so much worse! Despite the narratives not being great, Spike at your Service was definitely saved by the David and Goliath reference like Somepony to Watch Over me was saved by the chimera reference (+ the suspense!) Yakity-Sax was definitely not great although it was nice to see Pinkamena return! If I'm being honest, if there was one episode I absolutely hated, it was "Spike at your Service" along with "Equestria Games" to an extent for the same reason. How in the background Spike seems to be so dependable, useful and overall just a great assistant in times of need yet all of a sudden when an episode is about him he's suddenly a complete clutz who can't do anything right? At least "Equestria Games" did it a little better considering it started off as social anxiety, but as the episode continued, it just got worse and worse. I will never hate Spike as a character, but how they portrayed him when it was his time to shine was awful.

I'm going to say something that I just know people aren't going to like but Twilight and sludge really aren't that different at least when it comes to the way they treat Spike I mean really think about it sludge uses Spike to clean for him cook for him and pretty much run errands or do whatever he needs.... How is that different from what Twilight has done for years he runs her errands he does her dishes he cooks for her and does pretty much anything he can do because he thinks if he's not doing these things he will not be needed or loved by Twilight anymore while she's never said that it is completely twilight's fault that Spike believes that this type of dynamic is okay as in this episode Twilight is supposed to be his "mother figure" ( even though he doesn't see her in that way ) but she treats him as more of a lackey to the point of it being a "joke" that's so many people make saying spike is her slave also the the critique given in this video Spike being able to give up everything for someone he just met just isn't true because the part that hurt while it's feeling so badly doesn't seem as bad on Spike side because of the main point that Spike does not view Twilight as a parental figure he views her as a sibling that's clearly pointed out in the episode Twilight 7 even in another episode he was sleeping dreaming about "Mommy" but when woken up by Twilight he says you're not mommy so from that context you could very much assume that twilight's mother is the person he refers to as a mom so what was said in the episode was more of a dig at her mom then Twilight herself So it really annoys me the way people react to this hating on Spike like he's completely wrong 1. while he has multiple reasons to believe him not only the fact that he's still a CHILD 2. The fact that Spike doesn't understand that there's something wrong with his dynamic with Sledge is completely because of Twilight's own dynamic with Spike 3. Spike doesn't even view Twilight as his mother figure sees her as a sibling so if you view it from that perspective it changes the episode a lot

@FaolanCortez OMG, I just found this out now! Fun fact, did you know that All of the episodes here except The Mysterious Mare Do Well are awful rated episodes in your opinion? In the other video of the best rated episodes, you thought every episode on that list was great apart from Slice of Life which doesn't belong in a top 10 best list. That I'm sure you already know, but here is the REAL easter egg I found out with my eye. Did you know the two episodes that were disagreed on within these two videos are actually the ones in the bottom right corner of the top 10 chart? Where #7 was? I guess I could say that in this video it is a lucky number, and in the other one it is not really. What I am trying to say is in this video, The Mysterious Mare Do Well is lucky it is not one of the worst by your thought on it technically speaking and that Slice of Life you feel the opposite way which means it would be unlucky it is not part of the top 10 list. Pretty cool analysis, huh?

When I watched the first minutes of that cheerleading episode, I thought "but RD doesn't know cheerleading choreography!". I thought the lesson would be that Twilight shouldn't expect a teacher to teach something she's learning on the spot, and that RD will learn to adapt her knowledge of aerial dancing to this situation. Well, I'm not good at guessing...^^' Also, Twilight was irritating too, with her smug attitude.

The only one I’m going to defend a lil(not that it’s my favorite episode, but just because I think it makes sense) is “Somepony Watching Over Me”. I get why others thought AJ’s overprotectiveness was too much, but I don’t think it’s fully out of nowhere due to two things: 1. In “Bridal Gossip”, AJ was treating Apple Bloom like a child that can’t be on her own and needs her big sister like this episode(albeit less protective gear and baby proofing). She did this despite Zecora not being bad(which yeah I know she didn’t know until the end, but still) and even when they were all together safe in Sugarcube corner. 2. Knowing that their parents are dead(heavily implied in “Perfect Pear” ), I feel like AJ being a overprotective mother in that episode makes sense when you think about it. Applejack probably had to take up a mother role towards Applebloom since their parents pass away and while Granny was able to raise them to the best of her abilities, she’s still old and have limits to do somethings around the farm or outside of it. At most I think they should’ve just tone down a bit of her overprotectiveness with the baby proofing and it would be a pretty good episode. At worst, it’s just decent(although I do like the latter half with the Chimera, that was intense and cool seeing Apple Bloom dodge the Chimera). Small note: Just wanted to leave this interesting theory I saw once for fun. It’s what about if Bright Mac and Pear Butter died during a pie trip that so happens to be the same one AJ went on? If that was the case, it makes sense why Applejack knows how to deal with the Chimera and tragic thinking Apple Bloom almost suffered the same fate.

2, 4, 6, Greaaat is actually in my top ten RD episodes. For the lesson. Smolder makes a really damn good point when she calls Rainbow out on her behavior, and it actually made me think about how I interact with my loved ones. It made me want to show more genuine interest in other's interests. And not just focus on my own.

If I may make a suggestion, just an idea, and it will be a bit of a mission, but why not this best & worst list for each of the MLP era cartoons, G1, G3 & G5 (thus far) and then maybe make the ultimate 'best & worst' top 10 list of all of MLP cartoons (Generations G1, G3, G4 & G5, so far) of all time? (Note: G2 never actually got its own cartoon series, sadly. I bet it could have been super cute if they did...)

Honestly surprised that Feeling Pinkie Keen wasn't on here. I understood what they were trying to say, but the execution of it left a bad taste in my mouth. Plus Twilight was just so unlikeable to me in that episode.

Apologies if this is a little late, but I have a few dishonorable mentions to add here. NOTE, this is just my opinion only by the way. Not disagreeing to the ones mentioned, I do I promise. :) My list of Top 5 WORST MLP episodes I have ever set eyes on and opened my bloody ears to #5 Honest Apple - I was not impressed about it to say the least, and AJ just had to go in and ruin all the plans to witness a good fashion show. I get she is the element of honesty, but to be blunt, honesty is mainly supposed to be used as a supportive trait, not an abusive one. Hell, she made Rarity, and the fashionistas cry by being an asshole and harassing like a mere fly. Rarity had the right mind to give Applejack the karma she deserved by asking about her opinion on Strawberries vs Apples and then being dissed in the process. Yeah, Honest Apple was just meh for me. #4 Secrets and Pies - Man, do I EVER feel this pissed at an episode? Secrets and Pies was a f**king pile of sh*t. Rainbow Dash literally trolled Pinkie Pie from the get-go back-to-back and threw away about at least a hundred pies rather than just saying, "No" to them or even just accepting the offer rather than being a sneaky thief and wasting them all! I mean how hard is it?! Being a goddam liar will only make matters worse! And little does the dumbass Dash know that whatever sh*t she tries to pull she will have that instant regret later on. Pinkie Pie finally snapped at her and I did not feel bad at all when she did. She had EVERY right to. If I was treated as horribly as her, I would not give a refund (IRL) for the amount of times RD had gone and wasted all those crafted, succulent pies. Absolutely DISGRACEFUL of an episode! Goddam... One of my all-time hated episodes ever, I swear OML. (Deep breathe) here is #3 The End in Friend - Words cannot express how pathetic this sh*tshow of an episode was... Rarity and Rainbow Dash having a fight? Yeah sure, why the hell not? F**k me. I mean I don't even have the patience to explain how garbage this episode was. Surprised Twilight wasn't pissed at them unlike Non-compete clause where she was at RD and AJ. Oho, Starlight snapped though. And I would have done the EXACT same thing!! #2 Flutter-brutter - This one was cheesy and weird and I for once stand up for RD in this one, because Zephyr Breeze was perverted and flirty to the point where I was like... What the actual f**k am I watching? I swear he acted like a kindergartener the whole damn time! He is the older brother of Fluttershy, right? Well, why act like a victim who can't put in any blood sweat and tears in his pride and then gaslight those who try to support him? Pathetic. Flutter-brutter is an abomination of an episode, where the frustration suck into the audience like metal to magnet and then fill us all with discomfort. Sure episodes like A friend in deed and Griffon brush off were like this in a way where Gilda or Cranky Doodle felt annoyed by the clinginess, but this? No. I will not stand for such a lousy episode like Flutter-brutter. Do not watch this ugly and painful to endure episode. It is for your well-being, trust me. #1 P.P.O.V Pony Point of View - Just an argument from a tough crowd none other than Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Rarity. Could it have been worse? And that is my list, I hope you enjoy it ;)

Mysterious Mare Do Well is bizarrely overhated. I would at least understand if people were upset that RD was being unusually stupid and escalating dangerous situations with her ego, but no, apparently people are upset at the other Mane 6??? Like, what? How was anything they did going too far when we’ve seen Rainbow’s behavior that episode? She was actively initiating problems to fix, and trying to get through to her with words clearly never works.

Maybe it's because it reminds me watching wacky racers and speed racer with my step father when I was younger. To me it's a fun episode
