Why not go there then, right ? Seriously 550?? I wouldn’t be complaining at all. I would ask for permission if I could do some adjustments to make it more homey. Im a single mom with a 5 year old, whom lost her dad, my partner and I will be able to pay it just fine. I’ve never rented or own a house before. So 550 is amazing for me!! I can work myself up! He was never mad though, he just knew how to talk and gain the upper hand in the situation. When he started saying the things that were wrong with the place and calling you a slumlord you got nervous and didn't know what to say or was scared to speak the truth about how they caused it. The minute and he started saying things were wrong you should have stood up and told him that he was the reason that they were wrong in the first place. The owner is a really odd dude that he is getting off on filming the eviction. It made him and the management team look like idiots. Why was the house in that condition when they finally got them out. Really bright to visit them hours after they just got evicted. Lol, This happened to me about 15 years ago, when my Husband and I had our first place together. It was a situation like this where a house was.turned into several apartments. Everything was good until, the nice lady we were renting from sold her house to a company who were, slum lord. The rent went up, while quality went down. They rented the basement apartment to someone who was on drugs, and the 1st floor apartment to a mother with 3 kids. Number one they wanted us to split the electric bill evenly 3 ways uh...no. How is there any way to tell who is using what electric? We noticed it went WAY up suddenly, and would suddenly shut off sometimes, and we found out that the reason was because the guy in basement was cooking meth downstairs, also I could hear the woman on 1st floor screaming obscenities at her children daily. The woman would also start laundry in the laundry room and then leave it in washer and dryer for days. I also pleaded with her to stop overloading washer or it would break, and yes it broke. .Drug dealers started hanging out inside the house's mutual stairway to get to individual apartments. it was a mess. At that time we were both starting over from scratch, I was pregnant with medical issues that made me unable to work and, my husband was working full time plus overtime ( he had to travel to job sites and his boss was illegally not paying him for travel time ). We decided with the situation we were in ( didn't mention that the place could have blown up at any time because of cooking in basement) that we needed to leave. We did not pay our last month's rent because we needed it for a suitable safe place to move into. The day we left the landlord called us to say that we were stealing becauee we were paying our new one. Technically that is true, however we had no choice , amd we told him that, and we told him if he didnt put us in that situation we would not even be moving. This guys seems like a good owner/landlord, but if they are having them split electric that is not good. ❤😂

These tenants have developed street skills of using coercion, the ability to lure, convince, make people believe them, sound sincere, sound as if they have a legitimate argument, and just get someone to give in to their scheme.
