12:35 593 Credit score. Not gonna lie, I had several emergencies, including multiple car repairs, decimate my savings and my credit. On December 30th, my credit score plummeted to 591. I shut off multiple streaming subscriptions, sold multiple investments, drastically reduced eating out and Doordash orders (horrible enabler of my horribly impulsive side), stopped buying cigars, reduced going out, all but stopped going to see movies in the theater, and many other things to reduce spending. I had to basically restart from zero. I have worked my ass off and I am still working my ass off to reduce debt, rebuild my savings, and rebuild my investments. As of June 16th, I got an update stating my score was 737. I am living proof that it can be done, but you have to bust your ass to do it, and make a lot of short term sacrifices while keeping focus on the long term goals.

Sometimes we just have to forgive ourselves for past decisions and work now for a better future. I’ve worked with all the banks to set up affordable payment plans as I work to pay off all the debt. Hopefully in the next 6-12 months my credit will go back up! Thanks for the inspiration!

Then they see they can get credit cards, and take out loans, all without knowing the value of the debt/interest they are taking on. The fact this girl is talking about an 'extravagance mind set' is a symptom of another issue young adults face. The spiritual gurus conning kids with BS finance advice. @@alonzoperez2470it might be, but likely even if it is the base situation is based off actual people, because often it’s easier to take real stories and use them as a skeleton and modify them than make them up entirely. I think this show specifically though probably is real because most of the people are traceable and some of them even are creators or influencers of some sort who clearly came on in part to promote themselves and those people are entirely findable and I don’t know why they’d fake only a few of the episodes. But ya you should never take these too seriously as they absolutely are the true stories of real people because it is possible the stories are mostly true but slightly modified for some reason, and sometimes they are entirely fake.

At one point, I was caught up in the same New Age belief system. I thought if wanted something bad enough, raised my vibration enough, and put it on my vision board enough, I would receive the money from the universe. Leap and the net will appear, right? That’s manifestation. But that’s not true. Sacrifice is the most spiritual thing you can do. I had to change my entire lifestyle and show that I was willing to eat nothing but rice and beans, and work two or three jobs. That’s when the true net appeared. I never got that whole stuff about people just expecting stuff to happen if they hoped enough. If that worked my childhood wouldn't have been what it was. I wasn’t even looking for a new opportunity. I had given up by then. I was humble enough to be grateful for the contracts I did have, even if they paid pennies. I always take my vehicles to get a pre purchase inspection at the dealership. Not only are they familiar with the car, theyll have the price breakdown of how much itll be to make the repairs. Having the dealership do the PPI helps in your negotiations as well. I bought a Mercedes years ago and while their PPI was $400 they dug in and went deep finding things a regular shop wouldnt evem bother looking at. In the end i got a great deal and they even negotiated to do the repairs on their end with the company that sold me the car as they offer a "warranty" on all their used cars. I got my motor mounts replaced "squeeky" door, front endlinks, rear sun shade, front rotors, and a sensor that was faulty in the auto dimming rear view mirror. Repairs were quoted over 2k and the dealership did the repairs with $0 out of pocket since the place i got the car from offered a warranty. Same thing with my honda that needed new front rotors and driveshaft seal replacement. They broke a cv axle in the process so i got that replaced for free at the dealership. Hondas PPI was only $200. Wasnt as thorough but they did the repair.

They should really just get rid.of the irs and income tax in general. Would make everything way simpler, people would have more money in their pocket and the govt gets shrunken costing less money. More money in people's pockets means increased spending means more taxes coming in. Make up whatever deficit is left (if we aren't already pulling in more taxes) to sales tax or maybe a VAT. That way the people are taxed for what they use and spend their money on and not to the ineffective, and corrupt, govt.

I dont think her services match more to people who are sad or just laid off. If anything else, people who just laid off, this would be the last thing they will do. In my opinion her services are more of the wealthy people who just have not piece of mind, but defenitelly wealthy in any case.

You know, I’m in mathematics and let me just tell everyone, file your taxes. The reason I’m saying this is because the government can and does use math to lay out your claimed earnings and compare their distribution to what the distribution should actually be. It doesn’t matter if you left no paper trail whatsoever, they know if what you’re claiming is even plausible based on how we know these distributions behave. You’d be surprised how accurate it is.
