Like, you can recognize that a team is really good without voting their whole team to the all-star. Same thing happened with the 60-win Hawks in 2015 when they had 4 all-stars including Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver. They were good players but all-stars? Come on. That’s how actual star players miss out on well-deserved accolades

As a Cavs fan it is really weird hearing "Tyronn Lue's in game adjustments are elite" because that was one of the things we struggled with him as head coach. I'm really glad he's greatly improved as a coach and having success!

I have literally never doubted DeMar in my life. He’s been one of my favorite players for years now and he was so criminally underrated and disrespected while on the Spurs, when he was putting up great numbers and trying his hardest to make the playoffs. I love seeing him in Chicago because he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves 💯

@@IPraise22 idk that one year demar was dropping 30 to 50 every week for the raps in 2017 he looked like the leader for sure, he averaged 27 that season and was shooting like 34% (not great but good for demar) from 3 in his second year shooting them consistently

The way he plays now is so interesting to me...He somehow blends like..The Paul Pierce ability of getting anywhere he wants to go with actual great athletic ability? He gets to his spots without expending any energy. Slow and methodical, but if gets his shoulder past you he's exploding to the hoop, if you stay back and let him slow play you he hits you with that mid range jumper that he seemingly couldn't miss if he wanted to. If you double him so he can just spin away from the double team and hit a fade away or find the open player. His offense is just so effortless.

Hopefully Zo can pick up on some of demars mid range game and that will push him into his next leap. All we need is a athletic big off the bench that can rim protect and we should be good.

People don't give enough credit to how good DeRozan is as a playmaker now, with the Spurs and coach Pop helping unlock that. Yes he was good in Toronto as a scorer, but the reads and plays he makes now beyond just scoring is so much more advanced than it was 4 years. The man has flat-out improved and put in the work that allowed him to make that superstar jump this year.

I am a Rockets fan and i watch every game. Life is suffering right now. I still hate the narrative that its Silas fault tho. Like no mtf, we cant hit 3´s or free throws, both Porter and Green are growing into their ball handling duties. There is a lot going on here. Also, the deep cut for all you non Rockets fans: Alperen Sengun hasnt being our best player, but he has been far and away the most impactful, that kid is the real deal.

yeah Silas was the offensive coordinator for the mavericks and their offense was elite when he was there, we just have very young developing players. It hurts so much to watch sometimes but Silas can't make us make our free throws or make us make our three's. Most of the time we have good looks it just doesn't go in.

@@tyler4312 nah the hawks didn't go to the playoffs with any expectations on them since they were not that good in the regular season. If the bulls keep their actual form until the end of the regular season, they are going to be 3rd-1st seed and get to the playoffs with big expectations. The difference is the hawks beat all expectations on the playoffs, but the bulls are beating every expectation 15 games in the season.

I told everyone. People just don't watch the san antonio spurs enought. DeRozan was an amazing leader, a dominant scorer and he really improved on defense here. When I saw the media talking shit about him and underrate him again, I knew he was coming for a great season. As a Raptors fan since day 1 of Toronto getting noticed more and more ALL Derozan got was hate/getting underrated by everyone, and it still happens to this day 10 years after the fact. DeMar sure isnt the best “1 on 1” defender but hes a good enough team defender to work out for the teams(toronto always had a top defence aswell) and he is a walking bucket techinally in the past 10 years or so, hes one of the best scorers in the league. All he does is play ball and prove everyone wrong who doubt him

You talked about the nuggs but didn't point out some key things The nuggets bench used to be ass but with bones skill and energy the bench unit is playing phenomenal They scored 63 pts last night! That was 50% off the offense. They let the starters rest and the starters only played an avg of 25 mins. Which is hella clutch since they have a back to back tonight against the mavs which are right behind them in the standings.

Because 80% of people have no idea what they're talking about, they saw a bad 3pt% and assumed bad. Derozan is a walking bucket and has been for years but since he joined Spurs he's been improving as a playmaker too. People think 3pt is everything and it's, quite clearly, not at all 😂

DeRozan has been in his prime for the past couple of years honestly. He has been consistently balling out and has been one of the better all-around players in the league. People just didn't care because he was on the Spurs and they don't get mainstream attention, and more precisely, when they do play well, the system the Spurs play within gets more credit than the individual players. The dude can legitimately do everything on the court and is a legit all-star this year, but honestly; he has been on this level without due respect for the past few years.
