The only problem is that the box claims 5 hours of charge per 1 hour of exercise. It looks like the actual product functions as intended and probably couldn't be much better. Generating electricity this way is just really inefficient and more physically demanding than people expect.

It doesn’t appear to be complete snake oil, but shake chargers like that are only good enough to power a single 10 watts to charge at a reasonable rate. But that got me thinking, would it be a good idea to make an AirPod shake charge case for runners? Since they use such little power.
