I mean, here’s the thing with sonic shuffle, they didn’t play it right at all. Apparently there are specific controllers with screens on them for games like sonic shuffle, and it shows what cards you have. And if you don’t have the controllers, then the emulator that they used has an option to help you out. It was a bad game not because it actually was but because they didn’t have it set up correctly.

That video was the only experience I had with Sonic Shuffle and even I remembered that years later when Arin and Dan played it. There is some game design shenanigans regarding: "The carbuncle ate itself" I think the carbuncle counts as a geode type item. and the carbuncle needs to eat one geode type item per turn to stay in your inventory. So basically, if you dont use your carbuncle while you have no other geode in your inventory, then you'll lose it... because it will eat itself.... I dont even know why I know this. I never played that game. I think a comment in the original video wrote this. Thanks anon op.
