In the end it will survive because there are the good ones like yourself that see the issues and craziness, and want to change it. @@Nightmare12869 I feel like that can be said for all fandoms. If you’re not part of a fandom, than that cringe is just amplified. Some of the things sports and anime fans do is inherently cringe- actually a lot of it is, same thing for Furry’s. You have to be part of the chaos to enjoy the chaos. It is totally fair that you can’t consume certain media or fandoms because it’s simply not meant for you. As a furry, I feel like, yes, if I was just a bystander, I would cringe heavily, but since I’m not, I’m just enjoying it like everyone else. As an anime/manga fan, some of the things I enjoy from that genre of media can also be considered cringe and weird, especially all the “cringe fanart and fanfics.” I can even confirm that I cringed when I was a bystander instead of part of the community, since I didn’t really partake in it until I found 5 really interesting ones. It just media and entertainment/hobbies some like and other don’t like, and that is completely ok. You feeling that cringe is just you simply not liking it, and that is ok. But I will admit, a lot of the furry fandom that people laugh and cringe at are a very loud but small section of the fandom. It’s similar to the sports/anime fans were there’s different subsections and genres. The fandom is HUUUUGGGEE. So in my part, it’s just cute art and good vibes, a.k.a the Pinterest/Tumblr Artists and con stalls side. A lot of the stuff I consume from the fandom is just really goddamn cute(fluffy lil’guys with big fluffy tails). But if I even do much as glance at one of the different genres and parts of the fandom, I feel a lurking need to gauge my eyes out. Also thanks for reading my rant, I really appreciate this/srs
