For me anyway, the actual worst characters began at the 4:29 part of the video. Mable, Ford, Pacifica and Bill were probably just thrown in to ensure the video would be at least 5 minutes long.

I honestly think Ford is probably the worst of the four mainly for his relationship to Stan when he came back to Gravity Falls. I get that Stan sabotaged Ford's hopes of getting into his dream school, but that was an accident and it probably would've benefitted if they had a few more moments before the finale to work out their problems.

Impress to control may cause... that... to happen. * Manslaughter: He may be charged for Stan's actions. Stan punched a purse snatcher and caused huge damage to him way before he was abandoned.

Believe me when I say that while Stan can be quite selfish, those closest to him that judge him only for his worst qualities don’t act better. For examples, his parents took extreme lengths to give Stan a lifelong punishment for his adulthood, all because he accidentally ruined Ford’s chances to go to that school, without thinking about Stan once. And Ford doesn’t acknowledge what Stan has gone through because of that: it’s not his fault for all his arrests and exiles, he was just trying to make a decent living, plus Filbrick telling him to go make an impossible fortune didn’t help matters. I suppose Ford subconsciously blames Stan for getting him to this point, despite it being his choice to do his research on all the weird stuff in Gravity Falls.

Stan is my favorite character and the more I rewatch Gravity Falls, especially A Tale of Two Stans, I just feel a lot of pity for him. Yeah despite some of his selfish intentions, I do notice his character development at the same time

I'm so sick of people hating on Mabel for her negative traits despite having good qualities. 1. She's a funny character with plenty of entertaining moments. 2. When she's the main focus in an episode, she does usually try to do the right thing and can be heroic. 3. Unlike other cartoon sisters she actually cares about her family and friends. I'm not saying Mabel's perfect and while I can see where some the hate for her comes in, it's seriously overkill in situations like this, I mean she's only like 13 and never actually means any intentional harm.

I fail to see how getting Dipper to tell Wendy how he feels is selfish. The only reason she wouldn’t let them out is because she thought he was joking and felt terrible when she worked out that he wasn’t. I also don’t see how trying to get Robbie and Tamara to be together is selfish. Robbie even tells Mabel he is happy now because of what she did, and the whole Mabeland thing was a trick Bill played on her and Dippyfresh is supposed to be seen as a bad thing.

Okay, so I'm confused about what exactly this list is supposed to be. Is this a morality chart? No, Bill would obviously take the gold for literally being an inhuman chaotic evil monster. So is it about the worst written characters or the least popular? Either way, I can't really see Bill and Gideon being on here then because they are generally solid and well-liked as villains, and basically everything listed to justify their placements seems to be about them being evil, which doesn't make sense since, again, this clearly isn't a morality chart, so I really am just kind of lost as to what we're ranking them on here.

For me, what cemented my hatred towards Robbie was his second appearance, when Wendy's like, "You remember Dipper, right?" And he very rudely replies, "Uh, no." I just thought, "Oh, so kids younger than you save your life on such a regular basis that you can't possibly remember them all?" My personal fan theory is after the series, the love potion eventually wears off, and Robbie reverts to his former jerky self, which Tambry slowly gets sick of and ultimately dumps him. As for the Northwests, I like to think that in the following summers, Pacifica will continue to mend fences with the Pines twins, who will help her become a much better person, much to her parents' displeasure.

In my opinion, Ford, Pacifica and Bill should not be on this list. And I think that Robbie is worse than Pacifica's parents. Why, you may asked? Because Pacifica's parents plays a major role for their daughter's character development, and what makes the northwest mansion mystery such a great episode is to show how Pacifica come out of her shell from getting treated like a dog by her parents. As for Robbie, what has he contributed? Literally nothing but being a jerk to Dipper and being a totally simp for Wendy that can't get over a rejection. Oh did I forget that he helped in the finale to vanish Bill? That one little contribution is very minor that it felt like a different character could replace him well. So yea, Robbie in my opinion is such an unnecessary character in the show.

The quotes "oh she doesn't care about Dipper's happiness" or "oh she never sacrifices for Dipper or the others and never returned the favor" or "she refused to get out of the bubble until Dipper gave up the apprenticeship for her". They make my blood boil!!! She does care about his happiness that's why we see her help solve mysteries when he needed her, she sacrifices for him as well like her play, her relationship with Gideon to save his life and the new room and the bubble and she had no full knowledge about what was going on outside the prison even if Dipper and Wendy told her, she was tempted and the speech Dipper gave in the court was what she needed to hear as she realized that not only her brother will support her but a lot of people who are close to her as well that's why she told him he can take the apprenticeship!! While those who say those quotes above think she is a bad person/badly written , I respectfully disagree with them but sometimes I feel like they are going too far and say stuff that are out of the context.

I mean, Dipper doesn't seriously think he can just leave his whole family behind for this grunkle he's known for a week and nearly killed them just a minute earlier, right? Sure he has PHD's and stuff but his parents, if they're easonable wouldn't allow him to go.

@@OmegaPlatnium They say "oh Dipper would have a great future ahead of him" The apprenticeship itself wasn't good for Dipper, it would make him mostly isolated like Ford and rarely pay attention to his family like Ford when he didn't even want to at least search and reconnect with Stan. He wouldn't be happy without Mabel and she herself wouldn't mind if he takes the apprenticeship if there was nothing that bothers her, she is a reasonable person.

@@duduamrosh legit, like Dipper is an amazing character too but he even said in the Mabel courtroom he was in a fantasy about the apprenticeship. I mean, in Carpet Diem when Dipper got the new room, it took 5 seconds for him to miss Mabel, and 5 seconds for Mabel to miss Dipper. You're also right about the Stan and a Ford thing. Thye probably would have never reconnected. People aren't really thinking realistically about this.

@@OmegaPlatnium Yup and who went to his/her twin first? Dipper! Not Mabel!! Which explains that she can adapt being alone better than Dipper. Someone would say if she can adapt being alone better than Dipper then why did she act like a crying baby in s2 ep17? You and I obviously know the reason in Dipper and Mabel vs the future. In s1 ep16, she and Dipper got what they wanted and there is nothing else in her mind and she was mentally good. You are completely right when he called his apprenticeship a fantasy, he said it because he didn't really want to take it, he didn't want to waste his teen years doing research most of the time and rarely come to society and he didn't say it as a mockery of his own dreams just to please his sister and do whatever she wants guilt tripping him, no he said it because he realized it wasn't going to be good for him and he preferred to grow up with Mabel instead. She herself wouldn't mind if he takes the apprenticeship if she was mentally well. If Bill hadn't interfered, she would have been cheered up and understood Dipper and let him take the apprenticeship.

Aven there they are intended to be hate, so I find them good characters (the father at least the mother is really undeveloped). To me you can't call someone a bad character just because it's harable if is intended to be hated. Agreed She is a good sister to Dipper who supports him whenever he needs her such as solving mysteries or getting close to Wendy and various sweet things. She Also learns from her mistakes and grew as a character.
