Ok. Don't let in any natural light, it will cause flickering. Add as many frames as you can for a long scene and use a high frame rate. Add sound. (GunMovieFX Works well for beginners). And Sticky Tack is an Animator's Best friend. Lastly, make sure to take your time :D
