I was born with Achilles Tendinitis, and when i was a kid, they would tear whenever i ran too much. It hurt so much i would throw up everytime.

Road rash was the worst for me. I couldn't even sleep. Even the air hurt my skin. Showering? Like pouring lava on me. And the bandages kept getting stuck, I had to peel them off. Also tore my ACL running down the hallway in school that was bad too.

@@MrHankHill cling film is the best if you have to keep redressing it, wrap it around your wound then bandage over it to catch any pus/blood leakage and because it clings to itself and not your skin it will come off really easy.

First broken bone was my collarbone. Last major injury was L5S1 herniation. Worst injury ever and I've broken my femur in a dirt bike accident. The fear is also the unknown. "Will I ever be ok again" isn't something I asked about my femur injury. Luckily I recovered but I start feeling pain spikes down my leg if i get too fat or do something stupid with my back. Cheers all, protect your backs!

They can put in a plate to fix a broken collarbone. I had it done myself.

@That Guy I broke mine in a much less brutal fashion so they just put me in a sling. It was broken 2 mm from my spine so I definitely got lucky. Do you notice the implant a-lot or does your body accept its existence?

@That Guy I got a plate on my collarbone too, I want to say 7 screws.. you are correct in regards to the lack of initial pain... I'm on the skinnier side so you can see the whole plate under my skin... and I can't sleep on that side for any extended period of time now... They said I got lucky because of how I broke it, almost punctured my lung... good times

Me too. My bone ends were about 2 inches apart. Had to walk around like that for 3 months until I had surgery and they put a plate in.

I have had a plate put in my collarbone. The reason they don’t like operating on your colllarbone is that there is a major artery and nerves there that can get damaged very easily.

When I was 3 I fell off a balcony about 20 feet onto a sidewalk I broke my C-2 vertebrae and I had huge fracture from one side of my head to the other, thank God I am okay and I can still walk and talk.

I thought i sprained my wrist but it was very painful for 2 months. Tried out for the football team sophomore year of high school, went for a physical and mentioned my wrist. Got an xray and it turned out i broke the scaphoid bone in my right wrist. Got a hard cast for 2 month, didn't heal at all. Got a screw and bone graft then a soft cast for a month. It started to heal a little but still needed another hard cast for 2 months to fully heal. It wasnt all that painful thought just felt like a bad sprain. The worst part was the 5 months in a cast and how bad my fore arm muscles atrophied.

When I broke my collarbone it split it 2 but it grew back 100% fine and never hurt.
