Was in a boating accident in January 2020 breathed in a shit ton of water no life vest and I passed out from hypothermia. Got rescued by DNR woke up in the ambulance with the man who saved me holding my hand sobbing saying he knew I was dead. I couldn’t read or write for about 2 weeks and I have teeth chattering bone chilling shivers I don’t feel comfortable unless I’m sweating now. life is short guys love it and enjoy every moment you can.

Someone in middle school picked me up and threw me down on my head from like 5 feet up ( I was a little kid) and I when I hit my head I went completely blind from the impact for like 10-15 seconds, it was very painful and so terrifying my brain has never been the same.. I have permanent epilepsy and take 8 pills a day now to manage it .. thanks kid from middle school lol

Never been knocked out, but passed out for a couple seconds in a busy pool in the summer as a 10 year old kid. Reason for passing out still unknown to this day, all I know is I was well hydrated and just got there. I woke up at the bottom, then took a deep breathe of pool water once in panic I realized where I was. Got back up to the surface, and not one person in this large pool noticed. Still creeped out by being in bodies of water as a 21 year old.

Oh yeah the perfect comment section to share this story: When I was younger I was OBSESSED with Star Wars, so basically if I was playing around (action figures or otherwise) it was Star Wars. Anyways I was "reenacting" that ending fight scene from Phantom Menace where Obi-wan in hanging in the hole. I was hanging from one of those poles you put up around a trampoline for the safety netting (which was not up, just the support poles). I let go and slide down the pole, not realizing there's the head of a bolt sticking out from the support pole.. after I slide down I thought I peed myself because my crotch felt wet so I ran inside into the bathroom, pulled my pants down and looked down to only see blood. Now I have a real neat Harry Potter-esc scrote scar

A few weekends ago, I was taking the trash out and In Ohio, winters are notoriously icy. I thought it was just raining outside and the steps leading outside were super slick. The rain must've been freezing over all the surfaces outside bc once my shoe hit the first step, I went flying!!! I landed close to my ass which I was very lucky because if I slammed my head, I wouldve been so screwed. Luckily all the sports Ive played taught me to tuck the head when falling to the ground. Ive had this 'tramp stamp' bruise since then lol It for sure hurt when it happened but I felt more stupid than anything not checking the stairs before heading out.

Worst thing that’s ever happened to me was in high school wrestling when this kid who was way bigger than me put me in a cradle and was straight up choking me out with my own arm, I was audibly gagging and gasping for air and the last thing I remember before blacking out was my coach getting in the ref’s face and yelling at him to call it, not really an injury and I woke up before they even got me off the matt, I’ve definitely had worse stuff happen to me like broken bones, but nothing has scared the shit out of me like that did

I have cataplexy, so I sometimes lose motor functioning in all or part of my body but I don’t lose consciousness, so I’ve fallen on my face quite a bit. Especially before I was diagnosed and didn’t know wtf was going on. Sometimes I laugh so hard and just fall out. On my face. Conscience and in pain.

I fell off my bike as a kid speeding downhill. I jumped off a curb and my front wheel just disconnected from the frame and rolled away. Next thing I know I’m lying In the middle of the road blood covering my face. Was knocked out for sure. Had the biggest face graze had to go school looking like an Egyptian mummy.

One of my vivid memories from being a child is playing baseball with the neighborhood kids (no pads or helmets or jerseys since we were like 7-10), I was the only one who could catch the ball good and we were at the last inning since we only payed till 6 innings because it was getting dark) and if we got 2. More outs we would win by 2 so they put their oldest kid up (their power hittter per say, and he got t close to em apparently cause I remember the pitcher throwing the ball and then I remember waking up sitting in the bullpen laying down with a huge bump on my head with my team-mates pouring ice water and putting ice down my pants to wake me up.. only time I’ve been knocked out and I wish someone got it on video so I could at least see how brutal it looked getting slammed in the back of the head with a metal bat but sadly camera phones didn’t exist yet sad 😢

when I was young (think 3-5 years old), I lost my balance while kneeling on the couch. I fell forward and my chin caught the edge of the coffee table we had in front of it, snapping my head back. It was by far the most painful experience I ever had. IDK the extent of the injuries I received, but I was told I did as much damage as physically possible without breaking my neck. Right after the injury, any sort of touch sensation was pain, I couldn't move or be moved without screaming bloody murder. I don't know if they gave me a sedative or if the pain was just too much, but I have no recollection of anything after I was put on a stretcher by the local FD/EMS. I was in a neck brace for weeks afterwards, and it was incredibly difficult to turn my neck to the left for months. I would never wish a spinal injury of that nature on even my greatest enemies, shit was pure torture.

Oh I passed out one other time when I got kidney stones at 22. I guess I’m too much of a bitch since people get them every day but the pain was excruciating and when I forced myself to pee, it looked like thick red paint and my brain couldn’t handle that sight so I passed out right there from seeing that and the intense pain. And got junk I never knew you could pass out just from too much pain but I learned that I wouldn’t wish kidney stones on my worst enemy..

Rolled my quad doing a steep hill climb once, turned right near the top to drive around a big rock I was afraid would bog me down but to avoid it I lost traction, got spun around, and then tipped over right into a rock patch. I remember myself just rolling for what felt like forever, seeing the sky then seeing rocks over and over knowing I could do nothing to stop and the fear I had waiting for my 500 pound quad to catch up to me and land on me was the worst part but thankfully it didn’t. Everyone there agreed I shouldve been dead, I just walked away with a broken collar bone and a very sore body. Haven’t done a large hill climb since, respect to people that can get up and do it again when they go through trauma like that

Wait, how are democrats responsible for ambulance prices?
@josephwatson7232
@josephwatson7232 2 жыл бұрын
@@philhunt26 the only reason they are so expensive is because you’re not paying for just your own ambulance you’re subsidizing the poor people. Same thing with Ivy League schools. Pretty much anything that’s crazy expensive is the fault of dems and is anti capitalist. College & health care etc it’s all dems trying to subsidize and creating problems like artificially increasing demand and Creating crazy prices. The gov can never really see all the problems that will arise and one policy always leads to the next
@philhunt26
@philhunt26 2 жыл бұрын
@@josephwatson7232 No, my friend. You have it wrong. The dems try to enact social policies, and the right votes to underfund them in order to kill them. The problem here is entitlement. Corporations feel entitled to profit. Obscene profits in the healthcare industry. We pay so much for ambulances because of corporate greed, not democratic policies.
@josephwatson7232
@josephwatson7232 2 жыл бұрын
@@philhunt26 it’s not greed for supply to meet demand at a price point based off of value added…. that’s the fair price determined by the market. When the government says oh everyone needs to have access to this and helps people pay more prices will inevitably rise to accommodate that…. There is a fixed supply…. even a gen Ed economics class would teach that
@josephwatson7232
@josephwatson7232 2 жыл бұрын
@@philhunt26 the dems are trying to lower prices for poor people by making things more expensive for rich people. That’s there intent, but they just make it more expensive all around and then have the poor get opted out / have structured debt plans

I had a old friend who used to brag he's never been knocked out. It just so happened there were boxing gloves in the room. He's about 6'2 and I'm about 5'7. I told him I bet 100$ I could within less than a minute. Now I've been trained so I did trick him. I've studied Tysons peekaboo style and knew it was perfect for the situation. Well let's just say....he doesn't brag about never being knocked out and now says he never wants to knocked out again. He doesn't even remember bragging.....I kinda feel bad for stealing that from him. Am I the a hole? I didn't take his money because he didn't remember the bet.
