$90 is absurd for this set. For reference, I got the dagobah diorama set for $90 and it has 3 minifigs (the same I’ll give it that) but it has more than double the piece count of this set.

Just finally picked up the Andor set for like 40$ on sale usually around 70$ with about 600 pieces and its definitely not worth that price but 400 pieces for 90$ is actually insane

The bad batch ship set costed like an extra $10 but came with a bigger build, an extra vehicle and 5 mini figures, maybe 6 if you count the gonk droid build. This set is definitely worth half of what it costs

Someone please just ask Lego for an official comment on the price for this set. They should explain it considering it’s even overpriced compared to other Marvel sets. Is this a blatant attempt at a cashgrab in broad daylight? I think someone should report Lego to the authorities. Heck get there UN involved with this as Lego obviously leveraging their monopoly on block toys.

My theory is that Lego knew this movie would bomb. However they still put the same amount of development into this set. So in order to make a profit from this set, they needed to put an excessive price on it to recoup their investment.

To me "worst set" means that the build experience, end result and solidity is awful. However, 90$ for this dingaling of a ship is god awful. There's nothing backing up this set, no ground to stand on other than the "issa disney collectible, consoom product". If this gets discoubted for 40$ maybe. Anything less than that it's just a robbery

I honestly think they phoned it in while making this set, although the movie its based on looks mid in the ads. I would think it was neat if they had the cats with the tentacles coming out or something. I think the fans, if there are any, will make a moc based on this and it will be much better. just making it bigger to where you can have them all side by side, minus driver slightly more forward. Theres now a ton of room to show off personality or add play features/ make it more displayable. Hell give it printed pieces, its bad rn.

This is a great review. Reviewed it just as a set without any of the baggage attached to the movie. Even taking the time to compliment the exterior design was nice. But I think they overpriced it because they were thinking the movie would be much more popular and encourage people to get the set. But I'm wondering if it's going to be the retail stores or Lego themselves who really eat it on this set. For as bad as the set is, I think more people will avoid it now that the movie is out and the production team is atracking the fans for not liking it.

this set just looks like the Imperial Armored Transport Mandalorian set Though the vehicle was bigger, the figures specifically the Mortar Trooper also had more to them accessory wise and that was like 30-40 dollarsish.

Maybe this set is designed to be sold only through sale. Customers think it is too expensive because it is but if they see it reduced due to some sale / promotion they will likely be encline to buy it. That's what I thought. The ship is large enough to feel decent to play with and the most of the exterior is very pleasing to the eye. But that price is absurd and figs are not interesting at all.
