Y do u force blind urself to the logic behind obviously deliberate & self aware lines like these?🤦U ever hated a teacher for blaming/punishing an entire class for the actions of one misguided soul? I’ma answer that for u: Yes U have. But u refuse to make the link & understand the meeting behind shit. Obviously if they wrote lines for someone calling them terrorists they know there’s a reason for people to think they all were terrorists. But no B, most of them were just peer pressured / manipulated into going along with or still supporting after the extreme actions of a misguided individual. Dawg i literally used most of Sam’s speach for one of my climate activism speeches for an earth day event i had on the day that last episode came out. (Search it up it literally released on or near april 22) The whole speach, build up, & lines around that scene were written perfectly & was exactly the motivation i needed to differentiate ourselves (a peaceful protest organization) from people like XR who keep giving politicians excuses to focus on the extreme actions of individuals within a movement rather than what that movement is actually angry at them about😤

@@SaveDareDevil-Mx first of all the GRC was not at fault here. John Walker said that they were trying to get things back to normal little by little. These terrorist wanted that too but they wanted it the harsh way. Their cause was understandable but very stupid. How are we going to put the people that vanished back in their homes when other people live in theirs? After Carli or whatever her name is decided to kill people she made a speech and they agreed. Peer pressured or not they agreed. So terrorism it is for all of them. Now it's good to look at the reason behind the terrorist actions but this is terrible absolutely terrible and the fact that Sam actually with her makes it worse. Not only the flag smashers had already killed but they were going to kill the Senators. Not to mention kidnapping. Sam speech is a big empty speech about emotions "do better" under the assumptions that governments are bad and that they need to step up. This is absolute garbage. Not only Sam is clueless about what he's talking about but dismisses labels like refugees and terrorists. Even more stupid. Emotions again. No facts no actual help. At the end of the day nothing as changed nothing that sam wanted except that he's captain America all he said was do better and that's it. No real change. It's good if you enjoy this but imo it's still garbage.

This video shows that they don’t understand anything about people. The point in not calling them Terrorist is to not be blinded by the name. That these people are doing things for a reason and it’s not random and coming out of nowhere. A reason shows that these problems can be solved and can have a solution. Calling them Terrorist is the solution to have them killed. Disregarding life and acting in the same way as them and calling yourself justified. The person who made this video is the type to cause fear and panic in the lives of others, to blind people and act as if it’s random chaos and create hate and anger in peoples minds. He would never be a leader with this kind of thinking. Seeing words instead of a complex life form with trillions of cells that acts for survival. That does things with a reason to it. A mind such as this is more dangerous to other people than Karly is. Believing what they do is justified because the other side does it. If there aren’t people out there like Sam who sees the truth about people, like Steve Rodgers, then this world would be in chaos, living lives of fear, panic, anger, and hate. Blinded to the truth. Not knowing what the right thing to do even when people are dying of hunger with poor living condition.

Also yes labeling people doesn’t change anything about them. You could label me a movie goer. Does that change anything fundamentally about my morals? No I don’t believe so. You know what changes something about people and their morals. The actions they commit that affect others. You are the only one I see ignorant here. Also how can you say someone doesn’t understand themselves. You’ve never met them. You don’t even know what they look like. And boy oh boy about that hate part, well if it ain’t the pot calling the kettle black. It appears in another comment you told someone to “end it.” Please elaborate on what you were telling them to end. Seems like it may be a pretty hateful thing to say to someone doesn’t it? If you wanna keep going bonkers and telling other people that you’ve never met online that they’re wrong, a liar, and a spreader of hate then be my guest. Though I think you might wanna consider going through basic education along with looking up the terms “self imagine” and “projecting.” Your thoughts on the subject matter we’re quite interesting to say the least and frighten me for what you may teach others. What’s worse is that the show actually did a pretty decent job at presenting how they’d started as genuine activists but strayed into terrorism, but not acknowledging that they became terrorists who caused destruction is what ruined it. The issue with presenting real, everyday struggles through new characters in the MCU is that, whilst their struggles may be bad, and in the real world some other people would be privileged relative to them, the MCU has to compare their struggles with pre-existing characters that have had years of backstory developing extreme trauma and difficulties, so things like Sam being presented as having a tougher life than the literal slave Bucky or presenting She Hulk as struggling infinitely more than Bruce Banner (who had also been a slave for years in Ragnarok, not knowing how many murders he committed) doesn’t work very well.

Well technically we only ever saw Karli murdering people in the name of the Flag Smashers. The rest were only shown standing around in a circle doing that "One world one people" thing or showing off their cool knife tricks to Bucky (I guess they must be huge Winter Soldier fans). We saw one guy throw a cop around and stomp on Torres in the first episode but that makes him a ruffian at worst. So strictly speaking out of say 20 flagsmashers 1 of them is a terrorist tried and true. I'd give Sam the benefit of the doubt since we never see much terrorism from most of them.

What’s sad is that it had a pretty solid message, but they just executed it very poorly. At first I was fine with the lines, but looking back it really was just a yikes. Sam could’ve easily just admitted that the Flag Smashers were terrorists but started out as people trying to help and had good intentions, he could’ve admitted he doesn’t know a good solution either, but would rather work together to find one instead of letting those in charge decide for themselves without taking into account of those who will be affected. It would’ve been better for Sam to say that the system is flawed, that the world is flawed, but that’s exactly why we have to work together and look after each other in order to make things better, less flawed at least. Because if we don’t, people like the Flag Smashers will resort to going to the lengths they went to force change. I mean I’m not much of a good writer either, but I’d say that’s better than just “Do better senator”

The bias of the writers was so blatantly obvious in this show, Walker is villainized the whole time even though he was a war hero who took on the mantle of ca with no super powers, and his only mistake was going too far and killing a terrorist that had just killed his bestfriend(also the avengers are shown killing terrorists and mercenaries multiple times throughout the movie), then you have Carly who is treated as a tragic character even though she literally murders innocent people to further her political vision(literally the definition of terrorism). @chiffmonkey
@chiffmonkey 2 жыл бұрын
It's a terrible "concept to explore" because that's not what Disney is doing here, they're not exploring a concept - they're TELLING you one, shoehorning the open-borders politics that they support from the real world into the previously real-world-detached hypothetical scenario of Thanos' snap. And Disney's stance on the concept is honestly vile - insidiously partisan, extreme about methods and delivered with un-earned self-importance. This show rather than affirming that Cap made the right call in giving the shield to Sam - makes me think that Sam betrayed him entirely. And prior to the series I really liked him as a character. But that's what Disney does to interesting characters, just like Boba Fett.
