There a talent for flame of denial that does stop combo, it’s called denial repulse you explode when knocked with flame of denial it stop combos and does little damage and burns the person

I think it'd be neat if Flame of Denial became more of an active mantra that buffed you while it was procced to encourage players to get the most out of it, or even just an Advanced Talent for Flame Within. Kinda like a Flamecharm version of Lightning Cloak, which Flame Within is *sorta* already trying to be but is only really halfway there. Could even have it do that big explosion you mentioned at the end of it if the player *doesn't* die by the end of the duration. Would make it a lot riskier and a lot more rewarding since it puts a lot more pressure on both sides of the engagement

IM PRETTY SURE TOO, that all the dead gods or saint jay COMPLETELY counters this mantra. HOWEVER, there is a rare talent for flame of denial which makes you do a flame repulsion when you get the healing but IVE NEVER SEEN it so idk if it even works

with your last point, there's a talent that's essentially a vent when flame of denial gets activated, i use it on a build with flame blind that blinds people for 5 seconds, using it with flame of denial mid combat is a crazy mixup. just doesn't work against the obvious

They shoud make the animation faster and make it heal u like flame wisp(tho weaker instead of 5-10% per few seconds it woud heal 0,5-1% per second for 20 seconds) and if you die durning that time u will get back up with 15% of ur hp and use a flaming vent that will send everyone around u away and lit them on fire after u.get revived the hp regen fron flame of denial stops working untill u cast another one and to make it more ballanced so people cant stack it with flame wisp they can make it so flame of denial cant heal u above 30% hp if u hit 30% hp the regen stops and if u go bellow it again u will start healing once again unless the healing duration ran out

Fun fact: Flame of denial doesn't show any vfx when you have Azure Flame, or even sound effects. So there is no way for you to know if you actually have it active or not.

I have a flame build that has it, the moment I got the talent for it the mantra broken and even after ritual casting, the animation plays but the spark is gone and I can still be knocked, fun mantra, works perfectly as intended, def doesnt need a buff busted fr fr ong

Tbh I think it should get its ritual cast and some of the windup removed, Using it midfight is hard and extremely situational. If not that they should atleast make it buff flame or eruption damage. They could also maybe add a talent that creates an eruption around you when flame of denial procs.

Imo flame of denial is BEST early stage / "pvp skill issue" stage mantra , it can save you from getting killed by gang of thiefs and also with this you can escape voidwalkers pretty quickly for example in erisia void walker runs to you in sharko cave you use denial flame and jump off a cliff , BOOM he cant get you and you good to go , also its good thing against fling type glitches , in weird situation its works pretty good and I'd say its just need faster wind up or delete the cast thing and just increase length of animation.

Who said it was a PVP mantra? I honestly think it's fine for what it is right now. And flamecharm already has a huge amount of utility mantras that can help you in PVP and PVE like: flame blind, flame leap, flame wisp and graceful flame. Flmaecharm has the biggest utility compared to the other attunements. And getting revived from death with 15% is already strong enough

Uhh Its literally called flame of DENIAL Like denying freakin death Why tf do you expect freakin self explosion ? All i can say best thing to do is probably make its active time lower,like 15-20 seconds(or make time scale from your flamecharm level),make it be normal cast instead of ritual like adrenaline surge and probably make cast anim either faster or uninterruptable
