I remember that stream! But I only remembered the good/funny part, it was epic, all the suspence and then the funny solution! Not even the best plot writer would have done better! But I didn't remember how bad you felt in that moment, you "despair" barracks out from the screen and gives more enhancement to the final relief and cheery end. One of the most valuable characteristics of your channel is that people, and also beginners, can identify themselves with you, with the joy and the feeling for the sky, but also with struggles, mistakes, fails, bad luck, which helps a lot, specially because at the end you always turn it in a positive feeling or way to view the situation.

In the stress to get everything else right, a simple lens cal will bo forgotten. I also did one day forget the lens cap and was wondering about the images, but i noticed immediately

i recently had a chance to finally drive out to a bortle 4 spot after not having a chance for 4 months and I forgot my counterweights! it sucked so much but I was still happy and glad I went out there for pure visual only, I ended up staying there for 2 hours just looking up! i can't wait to get back out there and try again! haha

When I do this, it is usually because the dust cover is still on the scope. I have had this problem a couple dozen tines. Now days, that is the first thing I check.

I have done that. I have a bag I use to cover the secondary mirror and forgot to take it off.

My biggest mistake was when I tried to take my primary out. It was coming out tough and then something in the tube popped and the mirror fell face down onto a concrete floor that was covered in cat litter for an oil drip.😢😢😢

It happened with me i was shocked when it was not working but after 30min when is saw the cap was on. I felt so stupid I was angry on myself on how i was able to make such mistake
