It's funny, I've heard nothing but praise for that game, and it's well deserved imo, but I remember buying it on a whim right around when it released, realized it was based on the Tom Cruise Mummy movie, immediately regretted my purchase, then played it and was pleasantly surprised!

Now that Imhotep’s sent to Hell forever, the third Mummy movie needs a brand new villain and the man in question is the Dragon Emperor (based on the first Chinese Emperor, Qin Shi Huang) who is played by Jet Li. Speaking of Jet Li, he played an assassin in the movie, Hero, in which he tried to kill Qin Shi Huang inside his palace and in the third Mummy movie, Jet Li becomes the Emperor

As far as the accent that one speaks with goes, it has nothing to do with your immediate family members such as your parents. It's based one the accent of the society that you're raised in. This is why the children of immigrants that are born or raised in a different country than their parents don't share the accent of their parents. My sister's friend was born and raised in America, but her parents were both born and raised in India. Her parents both have strong Indian accents, but she does not.

Honestly, The Mummy series could make a great episode For Wha Happened? A series rises from the grave in 1999. Followed by a Cartoon, a very "okay" sequel and helped end one actors career while propelling anothers into stardom in the process.

I used to play this game on the Wii back when it came out and it was awesome. Although I remember only getting as far as the wolves came out, hard game at the time as I was only 7 or 8 years old.

8:50 I deadass asked the exact same question in middle school about the platforms that sink into the wall in the Assassin's Creed DS game only for my friend's friend to answer "obviously it's pulleys, dumbass." I had to process what was, at that point, one of the stupidest things I've ever heard from someone with the gall to call me a dumbass for a second before I asked him "what the fuck is powering the pulleys then?" He walked away.

Hypothetically, they could be run using analog methods. Think old wind-up clocks but much larger. However, the likelihood of the wound up energy being preserved over such a long period of time without being rewound is pretty low unless there’s a waterwheel and river somewhere maintaining it. Even then there’s degradation of materials.

Somehow, they managed to put in the “mummy” aspect in the movie but unlike the first two Mummy movies where the mummies are wrapped from head to toe, the mummies in the third movie are encased alive in stone and clay

No, no, no, it isn't the worst Mummy movie! But, yeah - got the best game. Funny thing that the worst Mummy movie also got pretty good metroidvania-like game. The more, the better. Maybe, someday, someone shoot another good Mummy movie and it's get Uncharted-style Mummy game... only in dreams(( P.S. Forgot again about The Mummy: Animated Series and it's VG.

It is, especially when Jet Li gets to kick butt as a super powered evil Emperor with ambitions to rule the world and I believe that The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is the third time where Jet Li played a villain and in his first Hollywood movie, Lethal Weapon 4, he played a villain Triad enforcer and in the movie, The One, he also played an evil variant of the main character that he portrays as well
