1.0 France is a meme lineup, shells have less pen than a 50Cal, its embarrassing. France probably is the worst nation overall but some lineups like 6.7-7.7 are very strong and fun.

After finishing the French tech tree for ground I went back to 1.0 France and I actually quite like the tanks the FCM 36 is so fun to get kills in and dueling panzer IIIs is also pretty fun and makes getting a kill all the more satisfying.

I wanted to get 100 kills with every ground vehicle and I can honestly say that the FCM.36 and the H.35 were the absolute worst, just pure pain. It doesn't help that almost every enemy you face is either a Pz III E or F, a Pz IV C or a Pz II.

French always get full crew in all there Vehicles and standing crew modeled for AA. Unlike many other nations. The dev needs to fix this model all crew sizes ACCURATELY. HOW FOOKEN HARD IS THAT?

I'm a novice at Warthunder Ground Forces, but I'm liking the low tier French tree. The H39 and R35 with the longer gun are fairly punch and the Somua at 1.3 is a very good tank. Playing the slowest tank with the weakest gun and calling low tiers crap is very disingenuous.

The old 1.0's have been replaced by new Reserve tanks. You can only get the old 1.0's after you reach rank 1, so new players actually start off with actual good tanks. This video was also recorded when new reserves were already added a long while ago, so im not sure why you didnt just play those.

I agree 100% and it was made worse by the fact that France was my first nation. I'm 150 hours into the game and I reached the 5.3 ARL-44 and gave up. I'm now onto Italy for more torture but currently the speedy bois with APHE around 2.0 - 3.0 are great fun

I don't care if you want it or not, I'll give you some constructive criticism. It's a cool effect to have the text pop in, but you got to make it "pop" less and faster, the beginning just feels like I'm having a stroke. As far as French techtree goes, I started playing some time ago after finishing Italy and Sweden, I love France, currently at 9.3, tanks are legit beasts. I've personally said this many times before and will keep repeating it, it's not the nation, it's the player. Yeah, the 1.0 in France is not great, but you shouldn't be allowed to judge a nation by the very first tanks you play in it, they're just a stepping stone, not a forever home. Don't judge a book by its cover. As far as video production goes, 1080p is completely fine, but you need to get the footage to 60fps, you're running the game at 150fps, but the video feels slow, you know? Either way, keep it up, try new things, be optimistic, you'll be fine!

Hello, the tanks you played are bad for a reason. These are all anti-infantry tanks not designed to fight against tanks (except the AMR 35 ZT3). In 1.0 French there are tanks like the h.39 which was also designed to accompany infantry but which has an armor-piercing gun. The Somua S35, D2 and B1 Bis were designed to fight against infantry and tanks. You just weren't lucky with your choice of tanks (I don't know why the h.35 and fcm 36 are in the game when they are not made to fight against tanks)

Its gun, designed in 1914, was intended to support infantry and destroy machine gun nests. In this role, it was perfect and reliable, but it was ineffective against tanks In War Thunder, it is only given a single type of ammunition, but that was the only one capable of destroying tanks anyway, even though it wasn't designed for that purpose.
