No nail is better than no toe. Enjoying your vlogs immensely the two of you are such and easy going couple is fun to watch you do your things and see your adventures. The narration by the two of you goes hand in hand with the mood. thank you

M/V Oski here! We are so glad that you liked the lures. Our kids love watching your videos and we are totally inspired to learn to sail and set off over the horizon. Good luck fishing. The purple and black hard lure (the one wi two hooks) is a real tuna killer. Keep up the great videos

I have been watching your videos all day. Soon it will be my bedtime. I feel so relaxed and should have no problem falling asleep. I am retired so I have plenty of time to watch more of your videos tomorrow. Thanks for sharing so that others may experience your wonderful adventures. Oh I wish I were young again so I could have more adventures of my own. I once crossed the Pacific Ocean but it was aboard a large military troop transport ship. I would love to cross it again on a sailing vessel like yours (actually, I would prefer a catamaran).

Johan, I've got some observations and comments for ya. 1. In one of the " Sailing Emerald Steel" videos, Jules builds a really nice water maker. They saved a bunch by building it themselves. 2. When I first started watching RAN I noticed right off that you two carried yourselves with class and dignity. Watching your parents, I see where you get it.(:>) 3. When your folks get back to Sweden, have your dad go talk to "The Refreshments" about replacing Joakim Arnell as lead singer!(;>) Joakim writes good music but his voice leaves room for improvement.(;>) I can hear it now, Johan Blohm(I like Blohm's voice) and your dad harmonizing!!!!(It would be GREAT!) 4. All joking aside, you guys know I have kids older than you so I "feel" I can give your parent a very truthful opinion, "Dad/Mom, you've done a GREAT job with your son. It shows in the way he moves and carries himself. He's also very smart as he married a woman that obviously comes from ROYALTY"!.........................(Johan, were you ever a personal Trainer" at sometime in your life!!!!!)(;>)(;>)

You probably know this by now but I'm behind on your sailing videos. You can pull the bow into the waves by snubbing your anchor chain, let out more scope, then leading the line to a snatch block set 5-10 feet from the bow. Then pull the bow into the wave action. Reduces the rolling tremendously. Good luck!

Don't you just hate it when people anchor too close. I was first to anchor a week or so back, in a large bay. Two more boats arrived and anchored right next to me. And the forecast was for the wind to shift. Grrr! Great video - horrible anchorage.

I love watching your vids, you guys have some stories to tell! :)Btw, We had the WORST night ever on the northcoast of Grenada last year. Hooked onto a mooring outside a small fishing village near by Duquesne. The waves was insane, we rolled around all night, in need to lay on our back and use knees and elbows to support not to roll to much in bed. Haha, glad it was only a short stop for the night, but the mooring was good thou, it belonged to a big fishingboat that was on the dock for a rep. And we was the only boat there. But a really windy night outside St.George the day before came with alot of dragging for all the boats, and one of our neighbor experienced the same as you guys with a boat on the loose with owner on land. That was no fun to watch. And a cat came in that night with a broken mast! Caribbean, huh? ;) Hope your toe is gonna be all good, i could feel the pain through the screen..

I have been watching your videos...love them, but more on that later. Concerning the water problem; Sailing Uma (on KZbin) had the coolest solution (only I went back on their videos and could not find it). Anyway, their deck is slanted inward and they have a drain that funnels the water down on the inside of the cabin wall then outside. Where the drain goes into the cabin they put a diverted valve to continue running water out for the first 10 minutes (during rain storm) then water goes thru a filter and continues to their water tanks. Result...they do not have to carry water to their tanks. Pretty cool, huh?
