@@georgealvarez1195This new team 4 is infinitely better than the old one. They’re just given the impossible task of balancing 5v5. They’d do amazing with 6v6

I played a few game on this patch, and it felt awfull to play in all 3 roles: -Armor change make rein literally unkillable if he have a slight source of heal. -Zarya is the new server admin. -Ram cooldown are bugged for some reasons, and if you block you are unkillable, but if you don't you evaporate, so the gameplay is litteraly be a wall and don't move. -Mauga is still Mauga but worst. -JQ changes in a vacume would made her meta, but with all the new powercreep introduced with this patch she is underwealming because she don't have armor. -You can still burst a winston with focus fire, but if you don't you just die. -Pharah is still meta. -Support have to play dead by daylight again, because if a tank just walk to you you are just dead. -The armor change make so that dps can no longer kill tanks. Why we had to throw out of the window a almost well balanced patch for this???

Had a game vs a Rein on kings row. He ended the game with over 40k damage blocked... And it was a M2 - GM3 game, so it's not like people didn't try to take angles etc. One reinhardt alone is basically OW1 Sigma + Orisa's shields in one.

I hope everyone feels the same way with Cassidy's range being a good change. Sure, it should've been his health. But fuck I was worried it'd be nothing for a second. It was with Pharah sadly. But hell, I really hate when hitscan meta feels like just 1 character + widow.

honestly im sad i will do even less damage from further away now... pharah gets a slap on the wrist still has her fast shots with 0 fall off damage no nerf to her movement or anything

if you hit Pharah's damage or mobility you just push her into ground Pharah spamming projectiles being the only viable way to pilot the hero and that's what people are complaining about (spam damage with no falloff). I agree sound cues will help if they add those as a nerf. If you want to nerf primary fire damage then I think you have to rework her ultimate to be good instead of a suicide button. Right now her ult is one of the worst in the game. Make it useful and then you can remove power from her budget somewhere else. You all have to remember they gutted Pharah's flying ability already, that power budget for flying got turned into jet dash with a cooldown as compensation. That's how you have to adjust heroes. The way people talk they want Pharah to be nerfed to 0% pick rate and that's just scrub level whining.

Can't wait for the '6v6 return' gang to say this patch proves they're right, when really it just shows Blizz can't balance 5v5 or 6v6 well at all, and resorting to major buffs in 1 role to somehow help did nothing useful

Sorry, I like the patch. Tanks are suppose to be hard to take down. If there is only one tank, they need to be far healthier than they have been.

I think you and other content creators are really missing the mark on these Mauga changes. They are a nerf and a pretty big one too. If Mauga is shooting an enemy for the entire duration of his cardiac it is the same overall healing. Any amount of time he is not shooting an enemy while in cardiac like when he’s blocked by a Reinhardt shield, defense matrix, Kinetic grasp, sigma shield, Ramattra shield, or just misses he is punished much more heavily. Maybe most significantly, his window of damage reduction is straight up nerfed. This allows him to better sustain through high damage, but there isn’t really a significant number of things that could kill Mauga in overdrive before anyway. While a flattened power curve might be better for many offensive abilities that leads to dull and uninspired defensive abilities. I hope they continue with these type of changes to that give them more significant and shorter windows of power. This forces the user to be thoughtful with how they use they use the ability. Less fortifies and more deflects.

THIS. This is literally the balancing that all these content creators have been CRYING for forever now, especially the tank ones and now they're all saying this is the worst patch that ever came out. Like okay buddy let's just ignore the long history of shitty balance in OW1. This patch has brought life back into the tanks but hey I guess saying the devs did a good job for once doesn't pay as well as titling every video "THIS PATCH WILL KILL OVERWATCH!!! WHAT WERE THE DEVS THINKING?"
