BTW did you know on his deathbed George Halas made his daughter Virginia promise never to sell the Bears? She was actually next in line for ownership of the Bears after George died in 1983. For a time everything was fine for the Bears with their Super Bowl just 2 years after George's passing, until Virginia threw it all away after the Super Bowl. First came the firing of the Bears' cheerleaders. Next came the letting go of Buddy Ryan who went on to coach the Eagles. Now here it is as it stands today - fans are patiently waiting for Virginia to kick the bucket so that her son George can take over.

Under their watches, their prospective teams have been the walking mediocrity for decades. I'm from Chicago's western burbs, but an Eagles fan 💪(my dad super-commuted to East Coast during recession). Now as an adult w/ an urban planner background, it is ASTOUNDING how bad the McCaskey's + Chicago messed up Soldier Field + its environs. The Ford family at least had the cognizance to build a VERY nice indoor facility near downtown. The Bears decided to architecturally butcher Soldier Field while not adding any value. Did I mention the convention center McCormick Place was rebuilt at the same time too for a sh*tload of money? Chicago now has an alien spaceship football field that could 'never' host a Super bowl, and a convention center that is half new, half original. They could have IGNORED Soldier Field; building a brand new stadium+convention center like Colts' Lucas Oil would have been better. Might have helped with that Olympic bid we never could have afforded as taxpayers too😂

I really think Mike Brown should be higher on the list. The man can't run a team and neither can his daughter or son in law. Telling stat: the Bengals were in the Super Bowl in 88, three years later. Here are the coaches he has hired: Dave Shula 19-52 record in around 4.5 seasons. Yep he lost more games in less than 5 years than his dad did in his entire career. Bruce Coslet 21-39 record in just under 4 seasons. Nothing really sticks in my memory of him as a head coach and I'm a lifelong fan. Dick LeBeau 12-33 in almost 3 seasons. Yep he had a worse winning percentage than Dave Shula. Marvin Lewis 131-122-3 in 16 full seasons. 0-7 in the playoffs. Should have been fired nearly a decade before he was. Zac Taylor 2-14 in one year so far. Is it a matter of not having players in place to run the system he wants or was it just foolish to hire the 35 year old QB coach with absolutely no experience running a team? With Brown's track record, I lean towards the latter. The number of high profile draft failures is high as well. But don't worry when he accidentally drafts a good player, they'll go elsewhere after their rookie contract expires because Mike Brown simply will not spend money to put together a winning football team on a consistent basis. Then there's the Andy Dalton contract that paid him way too much as a purely average quarterback.

As a Bears' fan, I honestly don't understand how the McCaskey family is not on this list. During the Brett Favre/Aaron Rodgers era in Green Bay, from 1993 until the present, the Bears have had 30 different men start at QB. Think about that. Thirty different men have started, while Green Bay has had around five, I believe? During this 27-year period, the Bears have had a total of six 10-win seasons, 5 division titles, a total of four playoff wins, nine 10-loss seasons along with five 9-loss seasons, and an attitude of complacency which has kept this team in a rut. They will come out of nowhere and win a division title, blow it in the playoffs, then go back into hibernation for several years before repeating themselves. I honestly see no reason to believe why this pattern won't repeat itself in 2020 and beyond, with most of the players on the team right now being gone before they win another division title and bowing out of the playoffs early. And as long as the McCaskey family continues to own the Bears, there will be no change to this. They do not have an environment conducive to putting together a consistently good offense and they have become the city where QBs either go to die or are fatally wounded. I understand the criticism concerning the Bears getting Trubisky instead of Maholmes or any other QB back in 2017 and I agree with much of it, but if they would have drafted anyone else instead of Trubisky, we would be saying the same thing about them as we are about Mitch. Maholmes, in the offensive wasteland that is the Chicago Bears, would be just another QB with great potential that would be mediocre at best. So I would have put the McCaskey family on this list. Bump Jones off to #11 and put the Bears' owners probably around #8, maybe #7.

Do a What team out of all 32 has had the most hall of famers play on their team no matter if it was just a season or 2, or drafted buy, or full career. I just want to know who has had the most hall of famers

I am a Chargers fan (unfortunately 😂) but if I had to guess the team with the most hall of famers I would say Steelers and the team with the least hall of famers jags.

I think the list (not its order) is mostly accurate, except for one huge miss. The order is not my favorite, but it is not too bad. My personal top 10 is: 1.- Jimmy Haslam (besides poor results, that tendency to change coaching staff and/or management every season evidences a complete lack of strategy and understanding of how to build a sports team. This should have been top 3 on TPS's list too). 2.- Dan Snyder. 3.- The Ford Family (the big miss. The Lions are always lacking "something". Either they lack good management, or good coaching staff, or talent on the field, or a combination of them. And ownership doesn't seem to care. That is pretty evident in their consistently results, horrible at worst, disappointing at best). 4.- Mike Brown. 5.- Dean Spanos (when it seems that the Chargers are poised to make a serious run for a championship, this owner meddles in the management or personnel departments and ends up making a bone-headed decision). 6.- Bill Bidwill. 7.- Mark Davis (with all due respect to his father and his achievements and contributions, Al would have been top 3 if he was evaluated by how he ran the team in the 1990s and 2000s, so Mark is an upgrade in that regard). 8.- The Johnsons. 9.- The York Family. 10.- Jerry Jones (another owner who if evaluated by how he ran the team in the 1990s and 2000s would be top 5, perhaps even top 3).
