Well it also makes sense to fire Flores if it was gonna be Brady with Sean Peyton at head coach. Flores caught wind of all of this and thats why he sued them and then that caused Peyton to just retire and Brady to go back to the Bucs even tho the Bucs said they weren't gonna give him away anyway. So in all honestly Flores knew he was getting fucked over esp when his coach offered him money for tanking and then tried firing him to look bad so he would just lose his job. While I'm upset Flores sued and ruined what would've been a banger playoffs last year (Burrow, Allen, Mahomes, and Brady on one side of the bracket.) I understand that Flores sued cuz he didnt wanna look bad but he looks worse now and might not even get a job after this still so he kinda shot himself in the foot to shoot his old team

I feel like Mike Brown is overrated here. One great season doesn't erase 3 decades of being a cheapskate and horrible player decisions. 3 playoff wins in 30 years since he took over should not get him near midway through the list. Maybe he's finally learning how to run a team to actually win, but I think he belongs just above the absolute gutter trash of Snyder, Khan, and the Ford family. He has a TON of work before Bengals fans don't despise him. He probably won't live long enough for that to happen, given he's 85.

@danielmocsny50662 жыл бұрын
I think the ranking is factoring in Joe Burrow's future career. The Bengals might be like the Colts were when they drafted Peyton Manning, except that Burrow took the Bengals to the Super Bowl a lot faster. No one can predict the future, of course. Burrow might not reach his potential for a variety of reasons. But barring catastrophe he looks set to be elite for a long time. The owner ranking is mostly about random chance anyway. Kraft is only on the list because his team drafted Brady in the sixth round. They took a player that every team including the Patriots had passed on multiple times. No intelligence whatsoever was involved in that draft pick, but it's why Kraft is at the top. So this list should really be a ranking of owners by how lucky they've been. Except Dan Snyder of course, the man appears to be vile if the reporting is accurate. He appears to have had a lot more than bad luck to earn his Snidely Whiplash reputation.

And I will say it again - asking ANY quarterback to thrive in Halas Hall is like asking a shark to hunt in the Sahara. Rip all you want on Trubisky, but Maholmes would have been wrecked by this team just as badly (I'm not saying that Trubisky would have a HoF career if he never played in Chicago. I'm saying that him playing in Chicago doomed him from the start, just as it dooms any other QB that goes there). The Bears will have a decent season around 2025, then will fall right back to 6-10 in no time. This will stay this way until there is a new ownership that knows what they are doing. I believe Rooney should be number 1 considering how successful the team has been historically and they are always pushing inclusion hence the Rooney rule. Having Kraft as number 1 seems like recency bias to me. The Steelers are arguably the best run franchise of all time where as patriots really just became this great in the 21st century.
@daftwulli61452 жыл бұрын
when kraft took over the patriots had 0 rings, 1 conference championship and like 3 division championships, and he turned them into the power house they are now. They where perennial losers and he turned them into the team everybody is nervous about. He deserves that spot.

Irsay is way to high considering he has issues with addiction, police, and not always great to his players. Winning doesn't solve everything. He also got suspended by the league.

Read the video description. It is about on the field production, not off the field dram that does not affect the team.

One would think the Raiders owner Mark Davis could afford to get a decent hair cut, but maybe he really likes the Jim Carrey Dumb & Dumber look.

The video repeatedly refers to owners who are "willing to spend money" even though every NFL team has the same salary cap and the CBA sets a spending floor. The result is that every owner spends roughly the same amount on player salaries whether "willing to spend" or not. The NFL is not the MLB where rich teams outspend poor teams by huge factors. The only way for a team to "make a splash in free agency" (and seem to be outspending other teams) is to create a more unequal payroll, in which a small number of superstar players earn a high percentage of the cap, forcing the team to go cheap elsewhere on the roster. Owners can spend different amounts on other things that don't matter as much, such as coaching salaries, quality of training facilities, etc.

Don't forget that the Davis family has been the most progressive in the league. Multiple minority hires in the front office and coaching. The Davis family is pure class, they've just had some unfortunate circumstances

Agree if we were talking about Al Davis, he revolutionalized the league first in the AFL and then the NFL. Colour-blind and just wanted to win, and if the good players are in HBCUs, go get them!

Dan snyder is definitely in the right spot on this list, no one will argue with y'all👍👍. His own fan base & damn near everyone else in the D.M.V. ("The District"/Washington D.C.; Maryland; Virginia) hates his guts. I say he's the worst owner in ALL of professional sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, RUGBY, CRICKET, WNBA, ETC.).That's legendarily BAD STUFF!! #IJS
@DaDitka2 жыл бұрын
For his sake, he should be sad that "Dollar Bill" Wirtz is not alive anymore. If he were still running the Chicago Blackhawks, Snyder would NOT be the worst owner in pro sports.
