EVERYBODY GANSTA TILL HE TRIES OUT UNDERWORLD GROVE Personally, I think Underworld Grove should be at 4.7 - 4.8 instead of a 4.4, the lava rises that fast, there's a button where the lava drains, just like most crazy maps, and from the last section, you have to basically speedrun to get to the exit

I agree with quite a lot of these, although I would only adjust a few by 1 point or two (for example, I think Magmatic Mines should be a 4.4) Also, you really missed an opportunity with Graveyard Cliffside (rated 3.1!), and arguably Abandoned Facility, with it being 4.4.

Abandoned is 4.4 when solo, cuz a mistake while swimming can get you messed up.

abandoned's rating is actually fair (on solo), but on multiplayer its actually reduced by 1 or 2 points (imo) so a 4.3 is an accurate one for me

I’d say Blue Moon is a 5.5 personally. The amount of fumbling in the second half is insane, especially if you’re late at the end, and especially if you’re soloing it. That’s for me, atleast. The other two maps I’m absolutely inconsistent at are SSR and AVM. The rest are personally below a 5.4 difficulty. Except for Decaying Silo, I guess. Maps easy for me but design and gameplay-wise for most players, it’s more of a 5.6 than a 5.7.

Ok about Fall equinox: It’s much more forgiving than Sky Sanctuary, and Fall equinox gives enough time to go through AND time to sightread. The .4 gap may be a little too much, but I do believe sky sanctuary is at least a slight bit harder. Magmatic Mines: Difficulty makes sense. All of these shortcuts are unintended so going through the intended route probably fits that difficulty of 4.5. Blue Moon: I think it honestly fits the difficulty, it’s just a few of the other crazies that u compared, aren’t accurately placed imo. Shroomhaven: I don’t think it’s a peak insane map. At most it’s 4.8 (possibly same as Dark Sci due to similarly lava rising speed). Try playing both maps solo without any shortcuts! Only difference that may change how the difficulty feels are the different lengths of each map. ****Keep in mind that what are thoughts on how easy or hard insane or crazy maps are is subjective due to the WIDE gap of star ratings between them. (Hardest insane is 4.8 while easiest crazy is 5.2. That’s a wide .4 point gap)

The difference is that Sky Sanctuary is like if you mess up, you're done. Over. Whereas Fall Equinox gives you some time to recover mistakes.

I will say that for Lost Woods, the lava actually is a bit fast if you don't know about many of the shortcuts, and the buttons are pretty far from the exits, so doing it blind is actually kinda hard for the first time. Granted, 1.4 is still too high, but I wouldn't say it's even close to the easiest Easy map, at least when not taking shortcuts into account. Everything else in the video (other than BM, 5.4 is perfect imo) I agree with a lot. Savannah especially, its first walljump onto the truss is a huge chokepoint so having it marked as one of the easiest Hards after that is ridiculous to me lmao. And Abandoned deserves a mention for its absurdly high rating of 4.4 despite being completable without actually doing most of the gameplay.

I would say the ratings for the hard maps was most stupid, like sedimentary temple and wild savanna are widely agreed to be some of the hardest of their difficultly, for a while they WHERE the hardest, so seeing them these low is so so stupid, I would argue sedimentary temple is actually insane

Honestly just a few fixes: 1. Marred Dreams as 1.9 is perfect. It is an easy map with only acid rising, far spread buttons and an intense pace for an easy. 2. Crystal Caverns is a 3.1. I don't see what's so controversial about it 3. Abandoned facility is a 4.1-4.2 imo. 4. Satomi Springs is a 4.7 due to it being only lava and also having many far jumps. (well ig toxic lush water) 5. Ignis Peaks is more 5.3 imo. Slightly easier than Blue Moon, but a little harder than PC 6. Decrepit Seas is more 4.1 due to it being mostly water and having a very slow pace to the map And imo the highlights for july-august's star ratings: Onama Views: 3.3 (slow pace and easy jumps while being mostly lava) Windswept Valley: 3.4-3.5 Archipelago: 1.6 (mainly due to its length) Closing Hours: 1.3 Submerging Coastland: 5.2 (maybe slightly harder than pc but still a 5.2) Spider Dungeon: 5.3 (yeah same) Arctic Grotto: 3.4 (yeah just as hard as classic fallen mainly due to the unforgiving end section) Desolate Domain: 5.1 (Crazy yes. Harder than PC? no) Dormant vale: 1.5 Crawling Caverns: 1.2 (actually pretty easy and not very intense at all) Shroomhaven: (i agree) Underworld Grove: 4.9-5. (desert ruins pacing with easy jumps) Blooming Lagoon: (idk cause I haven't played as much) anyways these are my opinions. If you disagree, I'm fine with that.

BM sure is easier than IP and SC but I’ll have to disagree on it being easier than DD and SSH tbf DD is PC it’s difficulty maybe even easier many have beaten that map in like 5 attempts as for SSH that ones is a lil more understandable why you think it’s harder but the difficulty is like BARELY easier than BM one of the main reasons why you may think BM is one of the easiest is because that was the 1st crazy in FE2 so obviously allot of people have played it getting so used to it. That’s what I think tho I respect your opinion and get why you think those difficulties are inaccurate I had the same at 1st till I redid a few of em again and figured out some are easier ESPECIALLY Desolated Domain other than that some of the star ratings are very inaccurate take Chaoz Japan for example… (5.0) Like what?! Let’s keep it a buck.

I do not agree with some of the fe2 star ratings. Like Cave System's star rating at all, in my opinion it is the second hardest normal map, and it might even be harder than Snowy Peaks. And to me, Blue Moon is the same difficulty or even easier than PC.

I agree with some of them, imma share my opinion on insanes and crazies Maps that are easier than their diff : Gloomy Manor : Yeah even solo, I dont think Gloomy Manor is tight enough to be considered insane. The lava is pretty slow, some skips make the map a lot more lenient too. Personal difficulty : 3.6 Familiar Ruins : Same as GM, but not as much. FR is lenient for an insane. But it doesnt have any crazy skips unlike GM. I think it would fit a peak hard like 3.9 Blue Moon : Now I think this is easier than its diff but not a 4.2 like cmon, I wouldve put it a 5.2 maybe, the 2nd part is not that tight, and honestly i feel like its less faster-paced than other crazies Ignis Peaks : I think putting IP above SSH or DD doesnt feel right imo, like ik it's pretty tight but I think it's more of a 5.3, only the walljump --> truss jump is goofy Maps harder than their diff : Sinking Ship : I think the lava is a little fast for a 4.6, like legit towards the end you dont even climb that much in height, and the lava is close, imo 4.8 Decaying Silo : Imo a 5.8, only because of the 2nd tower. Somehow they managed to make it even more tighter than AVM's main tower. Like what- Shroomhaven Temple : Yup, I agree, the lava is way too fast for a low insane, i wouldnt call it hardest insane but I think it would comfortably sit at 4.7. Like at the end it's really tight and only at the end you can see if you won or not like crazies (SSH, DD, BM, SD) Also remember when chaoz japan was first introduced into the game? It was rated a 5.0, like in the first hours, but quickly changed to 5.6

Tbh the star ratings are trash. They are not even accurate on some maps like snowy stronghold and some others as well as the hardest maps (not crazy) have lower star ratings.

Honestly I disagree with most of these opinions, especially Buried Oasis and Fall Equinox, they are NOT the hardest map of their difficulties whatsoever, whereas some maps that have good enough ratings like Relic Valley, Magmatic Mines and Blue Moon are fine as it is. There still some maps that are way worse like Abandoned Facility, Graveyard Cliffside etc.

Easy and Hard maps and ST has the most weird star ratings. Buried Oasis is a hard easy, so it should be 4.7-4.8. Lost Woods can be a 1.2-1.3 to make it more better ST is a highlight map, but its actually a hard insane, but the 4.2 ratings dosen't have much sense

okay turns out it did get buffed. the rest of this comment is INVALID and STUPID. Shroomhaven temple is honestly made out to be much harder. I beat it in like 3 tries to solo, my friends beat it first try when I pushed the buttons afterwards (at least in FE2CM, idk if it got buffed recently). It's a lot easier than people made it out to be... none of us had even seen the map before we'd played it. It shouldn't be 4.2, but it should NOT be 4.9.
