Jep! Especially in Japan. I lived, studied and worked there. I surely failed sometimes in public, but the only single time I got halted by an officer was, when I walked on a lawn in the peacepark in Hiroshima I was not supposed to walk on. The officer was polite and nice beyond, he even tryed his best school english, because obviously I was a foreigner. Every time I hear that Japanese police doesnt f around, I always have to think how absolutely barbaric one has to act in order to get anything but polite treatment from the police in Japan. It really speaks about people that talk from bad experience with the law in japan.

I've been in Japan months back, and I can tell that the people in Japan are very polite with foreigners. Usually Japanese don't attack if you don't push the button. They won't bother you if you don't bother them. Basically keep it to yourself, and respect their space kind of situation. The reason why they were attacking Ramsay, was because he was instigating some of those things. And if they do something about it, He'll pull the victim card and call them racist.
@zerowitches
@zerowitches Жыл бұрын
Strangers do not generally interact. Foreigners having issues is usually they dont bother to learn the language, laws, traditions, etc. Its a completely different society than america for example. Of course there are all kinda of people in japan but generally people leave people alone. Have enough of foreigners finding any excuse to vilify all japanese too. Thats not racism, some just dont want to deal with people when we see stuff like that all the time about us. Still, everyone has their own reasons for acting the way they do with other people. You likely just stand out and are more social than those around you. Talking to a camera going all around is weird, japanese or foreigner. lately its seen as more problematic due to people.

In Japan there isn't really targeted racism against blacks, it's more a general in group preference. "When in Japan, be Japanese. When in Rome, be Roman" kinda thing. If you act like the Japanese when you're in Japan, they'll largely leave you alone and the places that say "no foreigners" tend to be more of the "we can't speak your language" kinda deal rather than a racism thing. You're most likely to get called Gaijin, which means "foreigner" than you are a racial epithet. Now the Han Chinese are mad racist. Like it's so blatant and unashamed that it's hard not to laugh at it.

He will probably never stop as long as he keeps getting views and attention. Clout is like a drug for these types of people and doing obnoxious cringy and pathetic content is the easiest way to get some, Streamers like Neon and Jack Dougherty have shown that it's effective as long as you are willing to degrade yourself and make a fool out of yourself you can make thousands maybe even millions because people enjoy watching drama and they like to have someone to hate on and hurl insults at it makes them feel better about themselves. I had covered this case for a long while myself. Here the thing; he had “apologized” for many times in his stream after people went up and confronted him, all while he was in Japan. A “yakuza” forced him to apologize, a few American confronting him and asking him to stop, getting a punch and ko, but he never stop his antics. So many don’t believe him when he say he swear he won’t stream. Plus the current punishment is just a penalty fine of 1,400 usd only, unlikely to have jail/prison for him, which many wish for. This just seem like a slap to the wrist only. In any case, once convicted, if he want to return to Japan in future, when he is out of Japan, it’s very unlikely for Japan to accept his entrance, as he had to declare he was once charged in Japan for a crime. But like I mentioned, if he returned, and the only way to avoid that is, if he choose to stay in Japan by illegally overstaying.

The reason Japan has such a high conviction rate is because of how their judicial system works. They don’t have a lot of lawyers so they rely on confessions, and they can hold you near indefinitely by jumping through loopholes. You can’t have your lawyer present during interrogations and they ain’t gonna stop until you confess or someone else is caught. Also the prosecutors drop most of the cases due to lack of evidence and let them just sit until they confess.

The main reason they have a huge conviction rate is because their justice system works differently than over here in the US. Our system works in the way of innocent until proven guilty. In Japan, it is the complete opposite where you are guilty until proven innocent. Our court system works to see if they person is guilty. Their's works to see if they person is innocent of their alleged crime. Safe to say, there is plenty of evidence against him that does not prove his innocence. A kid in elementary school I knew had a group of friends who had convinced to carry him from class to class. 3 other fully autonomous human beings did not question the order and we’re good natured about it and laughed at the absurdity of how it must have looked, the fourth felt the joke had gone too far and was humiliating to witness let alone partake in. So I guess the point is that even children think they can exert control over others because others for whatever reason often give it to them willingly, therefore enabling the newly forming concept that someone like him may come to believe as proof of reality and therefor morally justifiable under the natural order. Very childish and primal. Jonny Somali? More like Jonny Evolvessmalley since the dawn of time.

In some Asia prison they don’t mess around like in western one, they yell orders at you like the yukuza boss, clean your cell, eat your dinner, go to sleep and have one guard keeping an eye on you like they never get a break

Well. On the flip side of the japanese 99% conviction rate. A lot of people that get put away are innocent people framed by someone else or completely uninvolved that were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Look into it, theres a doc about it that i watched earlier this year This little shipdit however got what was coming to him

Lived in Japan for 3 years, didn't really see that they had much of a problem with black people as long as people acted respectfully towards each other.
