Honestly, I think the only solution would be to not make the same mistake with the next units. Maybe, just maybe, reworking the skills and implementing them as an upgrade would be an idea.

A lot of the problems you mentioned are common problems in every gacha. On the one hand they release 1-2 characters every update for quite a while now, so if the units aren’t good enough (meta) people will complain. BUT not every new unit needs to be meta because the game will die too fast from powercreep. Another problem you mentioned, units only being good some time after they release. If they want for example to try and create some new type of team mechanic or whatever, because they release so few units every update making these new team mechanics will take time, nothing you can do about it. Gacha games having 2 different servers being on different schedules will always be the biggest dumb shit I’ve ever encountered. If you play on global, and want the best of the best units, of course you’ll follow JP schedule and that way you probably barely buy stuff, because you just hoard the free resources you get. But if you’re on JP like you said, and you don’t know what’s coming, that’s the whole point. Like the example with Kiato and Julius, even though Julius came right after and is by far better, if you like Kiato just summon for him. The point of gachas is to play with who you like. And that takes me to my first point. The fact not every new unit is pushing the meta is only a problem for like the 1% of top PvP players. That’s why that’s such a problem for you. I see you same kinda the same things about JJK even though it doesn’t have PvP. “Don’t pull for x unit cuz y unit is coming in the future and is much better (again problem of unsyncronized schedule). Especially in PvE games, just summon for who you like even if he’s not meta.

meta has changed a lot in a year at least on global but the rates on the banners are so bad and sometimes the difference between non max to max dupe doesnt feels really relevant, only point we pull on mostly all banners or can max dupe characters easily is because they give a lot of gems/pulls. But they release so many different characters that i think they dont really pay exact attention to how to balance them or when to break the meta with some new seasonal or things like that to make them pull worthy, but i still think that the thing about black clover having so many things to grind is what makes the players to give up on the game faster or getting shafted in a banner frecuently cause of the rates, not exactly the character kits

Dude, the global valk noelle meta was the BEST time to play bcm. We had like 8-10 viable teams, i ran fuckin valk, julius, william and char/mimosa back then and still hit top 50 weekly.. ever since BDA, it just went to shit. One team or you lose, they really killed any and all interest anyone would have had in this game. It sucks.

i mean after black divider other fest havent feel as a fest, only lumiere, not only kit wise but lore wise. Because Salamander fuego is cool and great but it was dark unit to and close to black divider, so not even good maxing for him unless you are a whale, dorothy is a captain and really shes popular but not as popular as the other characters and her kit wasnt fest worthy since theres ways to counter her easily and takes time to set up and red mono team let down too so she wasnt worth to max. And Kaiser will be good kit wise but he isnt popular so its just forcing people to pull on a unit because of the kit, because they will of course pull cause of meta but not all will max because the unit isnt relevant being a fest lore wise they could have made dwarf charmy a fest instead and hella broken but nahh they didnt want me to max her sadly

I agree the pve is not rewarding but I think they did an OK job balancing the meta. You said so many character sucks and that is evidence saying that there are meta characters. And usually meta characters is like top 5% of all characters so obviously there wont be too many of them. how can you expect each character to be meta ruling the game for each release? If they do that there will be no fair balance and more players will leave the game leaving nobody for you to even pvp with.

Welp garena kinda weird, at some point gachas game unit every new banner almost ways better from the last unit banner. Garena didnt make it like that, only some 1 or 2 unit every 2 - 3 month appear really good unit ( meta unit ), but after that we need wait so long to meta change ( in pvp ). That make people especialy f2p wont gacha in stupid useless banner, in another things, spender will also confused even just for collection, but the new unit is useless, or maybe for some content creator they can make videos about non meta unit showcase, mostly in PVE. The good things is f2p can saving until the very good unit appear for gacha. The bad things is with current circulation, its really boring seeing 1 meta for 2-3 months in PVP. Like now, how stupid Lumi meta vs Lumi meta, like another unit can't do anyshit to this meta ( not all unit but mostly can't ). Maybe some blue mono meta can have a chance, but not everyone gacha for that metas. Wellp we hope garena can make solution for that, not only thinking for milking peoples money :D Anyway great videos as always gikku, apriciate in (o3o)d
