I don't get hiding appliances in a kitchen. There's nothing wrong with a kitchen looking like a kitchen and it is nice to have easy acess to what you need. I don't want to wrangle another cupboard door to heat up food or make tea. Besides, if you have the sort of money for a fancy kitchen you surely have money for some sleek appliances.

A bedazzled fireplace. OMG! Why have I never thought of that?? I have a pseudo stone fireplace in a light color. Not painted, but probably made of concrete or some such light colored material that will withstand heat. I must find a glue gun and sparkly crystals, oh, and glitter! (total sarcasm here). I can't imagine what that make-over cost but rhinestones aren't cheap. I wonder if they actually start a fire in that fireplace if the glue will soften and they'll have a bedazzled floor.

Toilets should not need plugged in, period. My bathroom is 4x5. I'm not kidding. The shower is a 3x3, basically a phone booth attached to the side of the bathroom. That door would be amazing for me. But I'd have to completely redesign the plumbing to get the showerhead out of the way. Absolutely agree that painted stone/brick is a criminal offense.

Was adamant that for our bathroom remodel we put in a heated and light up toilet. We lived in Japan and got very spoiled on the heated toilet seats. I loved the idea of the light up part too so that when you have to go in the middle of the night, you don't have to blind yourself by turning on the lights to find the toilet. As for the music, no! I agree, I don't want my toilet playing weird music as I poop! 😂

Hello Phoenix! I've been following your channel for over a year now and wondered if you could maybe make a video on chic interpretations of farmhouse interior styles sometime in the future. I often find myself gravitating to more cottage-ish furniture and decoration instead of the typical contemporary designs when I'm browsing the internet, but I wouldn't know how to style those different pieces in a way that doesn't make it look too tacky or playful and maintains a certain level of authenticity in the overall execution. Installing tile is ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE more expensive than contact paper...not even counting labor to install...youre talking a $15 job vs $2000...single random rhinestoned bricks are called accent pieces... its incredibly common to do maybe not with rhinestones but I'd assume you are familiar with the concept...do it all the time with tiles and shiplap and different color/textures of clay brick
