Signing the best player in the Premier League for 3 years in what is the prime years for a winger is a logical thing any club would do 10/10 times, and all it did was expose his lack of professionalism and discipline. His injuries accumulated when they shouldn't have due to his lack of training. He was so undesirable that he got his contract terminated and a quiet retirement likely out of the crushing sense of failure from being a bust at his dream club. Really sad way to end such an amazing career.
