Man I have put over 500 rounds on my g-flex trigger and I have never had a jam or problem. If you practice with it you’ll be accurate not 100% bc no one is but you will be good with it

yeah i think this review is 100% justified in terms of edc but i still think he might go too hard on the criticism, albeit justified. $250 dollars is a bit steep for what it is, but on sale literally why not how many pistols can boast binary fire? Def designed for full size fun, certainly not sub compact edc and you need muscle to not limp wrist it and jam and any marketing in that regard is def bs. You can shoot slow and accurate with it, and in fact I feel like the release is more accurate imho. The trigger weight itself is absolute dog water, if you have any common sense you'll take out the new york trigger spring its got in there and swap it with your factory glock trigger spring, and polish your parts while at it. Dead triggers are def a thing i've encountered, but you get dead triggers as soon as you start messing with the factory stuff anyways if you're not careful with your trigger bar connector. At least it aint franklin armory's select fire binary trigger and slide at over 400$, you can drop a g flex in anything and it'll brt you don't need any fancy slide.

I love the idea of it. I have a S&W AR 15/22 pistol with a franklin trigger. Runs great. But if you do not want to send the second round you can flip to semi or safe and simply turn it off. Even at a range not being able to stop that release round is unsafe.

I’ve had mine about 7 months on my 19x and I haven’t had any jams or issues aside from the first initial tests. It was somewhat stiff during the first 50-100+rds but after being broken in, it hasn’t failed me yet . You probably messed up during the installation and you put it on a compact Glock. ..

I just installed mine. Same here. Very stiff and gritty. Jammed once.. 50 round no problems besides the first 10 shots and it is a fresh build unbroken in so I'm breaking it in with the g flex. 1 jam..

I agree on the sights, I have a couple Glocks and think optics on a handgun is bulky and unpractical. On the trigger, I prefer stock unless you put the same trigger in all your Glocks.

As for modifications on carry guns becareful. From a law enforcement perspective, that gun is taken until the case is over, plus if a prosecution really wants to and they may, they can claim you made the gun more deadly based on certain modifications

It honestly doesn't make any sense to buy triggers outside of companies like apex and overwatch. Apex triggers are tested and widely used. These other trigger companies might be using cheap parts and not property testing their products. It seems like a risk to me.

Most of the other triggers like this specifically say "not for carry". Even some normal triggers, like the Timney Glock triggers. I think a binary trigger in a self defense situation is foolish too. It's not going to increase your chances of a successful self defense either. You have to be able to point and shoot with intent. You absolutely CAN use a binary trigger in self defense and you CAN NOT be arrested for it unless the shooting isn't justified. The supreme court cases are very clear on that. The same is true for people not being arrested for shooting too many rounds. The supreme court ruled that "if lethal force is justified, then lethal force is justified". It doesn't matter what weapon you use and there can not be "excessive" force when it comes to lethal force, because Nothing is more excessive than LETHAL. That don't mean it's a good trigger for self defense though. I sure as hell wouldn't want one in a carry gun. On top of that, I think it really increases the chances of accidents happening... and/or if an accident ever does happen, it could make it 2x or even 100x worse. The one thing worse than one bullet leaving your gun on accident is two bullets leaving your gun on accident. When a person does fire a round unintentionally, the reaction nis almost always to lift your finger as quickly as possible to "unpull" the trigger... but in this case, you would just let off another round in doing so. It's almost impossible to "unpull" a trigger once the decision has already been made, whether intentional or on accident (out of reflex).

A binary trigger is merely a range gimmick, in my opinion. As far as a DOT on the firearm, I do carry with a DOT, and I train with it as well. And I can tell you from my perspective, as long as you train with what you carry, I got no beef with you. As for why I do carry with a DOT, it is for a very specific situation, or reason. I sight all of my pistol optics for 25 yds, and I do it from a rest. I do this, because I know for a fact, the only time I would use it is if I happen to find myself in an active shooter situation. In any other situation, even when I train at 21 & 30 feet, I never look through the optic or a sight. And in a self defense situation, I doubt you will either. I have only ever drawn a weapon in self defense against a wounded boar, I emptied a .357 revolver and kept dry firing, the hog fell 7 feet away. I can promise you, I had ZERO sight picture, it is point and shoot. Traing saved me from certain injury, that is why I respect you so much, you train. That will be the difference in the real situation, I PROMISE you.👍 I both doubt & hope I am never in an active shooter situation, but if I do find myself there, I am prepared to take a rest at distance and do my best to stop it.👍 And that is my singular reason, for an optic on my EDC.

@@spnfirearms I actually prefer my Serpico Tanto triggers to my Wheaton Arms trigger and it’s much cheaper and is a defensive trigger. I like your channel man. U have a lot of good content. I’ve just never liked my Wheaton Arms trigger much. I certainly have more expensive triggers than the Serpico like Johnny Glock trigger, but the Serpico triggers are a great value for what you’re getting. I’ve never tried the Serpico Lyte trigger, but have tried the others.

I'm kinda a trigger and scope snob... I have ton of money in Geiselle SSA-E AR-15 triggers, and I have to say probably Walther has best stock factory trigger, followed by Sig Custom works and X-five 320 series triggers, then I like the P365 triggers. I have never messed with a binary trigger myself, and really don't need to shoot so fast to need 2 shots per trigger pull. Some people love to mod guns, I do my AR-15s but not my pistols especially carry guns, in this state of our government. Thanks for the video ! Some people are always gonna hate / talk trash / know more than everybody else.....Tell them to save it for THEIR KZbin channel. Love your channel and the content type and honesty.
