Performance trigger + Johnny Glocks Vex trigger shoe is, to my mind, the best trigger setup for a Glock. I don’t think I’d carry it because the idea of a fully pre cocked striker doesn’t sit well with me, but it’s been completely reliable for me over the past year or so I’ve been using it in USPSA. Before I switched to that I was using the Timney alpha trigger, which I found required constant attention and maintenance or it would begin to fail to reset.

As you know, my favorite it the Wheaton arms but also like the Apex. The quality in the Wheaton Arms is obvious as soon as you use it. Of course they cost about double of the Apex. For my Glock 19, I have the wheaten arms trigger and a spiraled stainless barrel and between 8:11 both my accuracy is better than any other Firearm that I own. Thanks for the awesome video. I absolutely love comparison videos!

Triggers are the 1st part I upgrade on any firearm I own. I hate heavy triggers. Makes me pull too hard & my shots hit low/left. Also a metal trigger shoe feels awesome & way better than the polymer oem trigger. So I use the taran Tactical grand master connector, trigger shoe, and I polish the internals. Gets me down to 3.5.

As much as you mod your Glocks with different parts, I'm surprised you haven't tried to put that Glock Performance Trigger in your gen3 26 yet. It's literally a piece of cake and only requires the housing legs to be trimmed to match the length of the gen3 housing legs. After that, it drops right in and only requires your slide to have a gen5 backplate, which you already do anyway. The only other modification that might be necessary is some minor filing on the frame "only if" your GPT safety rubs on the frame. You're a tinkerer with your pistols anyway, so get another GPT for roughly 70 bux and upgrade that gen3 26, I had to file down the frames on my Glock 45 and Glock 47 because the GPT safety rubbed slightly on those frames, and they are gen5 frames, which is what the GPT is for, per Glock. Don't waste another day with a substandard trigger on your gen3 and 4 Glock 26's, and put a GPT in them also. Lenny from Glockstore has videos on how the GPT works for the gen3-5, including the 40 and 357sig Glocks. After I watched his videos, I put the GPT in a bunch of my Glocks, including my Glock 32 and 33 357sigs.

I'm just curious of who started people saying, i don't want a light trigger on my carry gun. That logic has never made sense to me. Lighter trigger pull equals less gun manipulation which leads to more accurate shots. Isn't that what a person want if their life is in danger, i do. Thats why i have timney triggers in both my carry glocks.

Call me very old school, but I’ve been shooting stock OEM Glocks since 1988. I can pretty much outshoot my buddies and co-workers who are all into firearms professionally. I’m not saying I’m the very best because there’s always someone better than you (me). But even with aftermarket triggers, if someone doesn’t practice shooting like Eddie Van Halen did on the guitar, then a performance trigger isn’t going to do anything for you. Personally, I think that dots and triggers are way overrated.
@bryanrichey684010 ай бұрын
While there is some merit to what you say here, I will add this….. I bought my first Glock in 1991 and have purchased 3 more since then. Comparatively speaking, the trigger in my latest acquisition, G45 MOS, 9mm, Gen 5 is complete garbage. Gritty af. It’s the only one that has ever been bad enough that I’ve considered swapping it. I’ll kick the can down the road and give it some time to break in, but if it doesn’t get significantly better I’ll swap it for sure. Regarding RDS (green is what I run), I was initially reluctant to jump on the bandwagon. That said, now that I have I won’t go back. Faster. More accurate.

I could care less about competion pistols. That is a totally differenr bree of pistol, and has no place in CCW. Some people call the "Race Guns" with the magwell and everything under the sun on thos guns. A good example, No it is not a good example or a good compant, as Lenny McGill will engrave "One Shot One Kill" in your slide. Just look at the competion guns he is trying to sell. They look like something out of a bad comic book. His triggers "Double Diamond " set up is about 275.00 plus install.
