What's terrible is that these people wants to become affiliate or even partner WITHOUT even understanding the amount of work that requires to have your first paycheck from Twitch. So once they become affiliate, they have to setup their stuff to get paid, they have to make tempting offers so that their viewers uses their money... they have to understand what they can offer to their followers.

There is also a "Pay me to run ads on your channel" scam saying that you will grow if you run their ads

I also usually get dms as a streamer asking if I want to be promoted. They all lead to telling me to friend this “stream manager” that helps you get “thousands” of followers, but ill have to pay money monthly and give them access to my twitch.

I had an odd situation where 4 people popped into my stream, immediately engaged with comments and questions, and within 5 minutes invited me to a Discord server. I think it was one of those "support for support" groups you mentioned. They said I shouldn't do more than 4 hour streams, and to only stream a few days a week so I'd have time to watch and interact with the other people on the server. I told'em I'm just gonna do whatever the funk I want.

I feel sorry for those who don't understand you can't pay your way to the top :( no matter how nice the deal sounds, it will always be scam. I also don't understand the viewbotting thingy.. I rather have people who are sweethearts, love hugs(optional), and enjoy pictures of my cat... haha xD

Big video from big dan❤ Edit: it’s pretty damn disgusting for people to prey on new content creators on any platform and they manipulate you into thinking they are your friend when they really only want your money and for you to say “hey check out this guy” like I don’t get the mentality to know something is morally wrong but you still do it and continue to be a disgusting human being :( it’s sad and yea it’s the world but definitely we need more awareness about garbage like this, things like twitch it takes time, effort, ups and down like if you want to be big and dream big and try to get up there you need to accept that it’s gonna be a while and take time and practice, I was just lucky to meet a bunch of lovely people who genuinely enjoy being in my space like that’s what u do you be active you go around in chats you meet people and connect make friends, bottom line, it’s hard and takes time
